Background: In-laboratory polysomnography (PSG) is considered the gold standard for diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Our study aimed to compare whether home polygraphy (PG) could provide comparable diagnostic accuracy to PSG before bariatric surgery in a real-life cohort and to determine whether home PG is associated with a higher incidence of complications.
Methods: In a retrospective study, we compared 400 patients who performed home PG or laboratory PSG between January 2017 and March 2020.

Long-term outcomes of patients with coronavirus disease (COVID-19)-related acute respiratory distress syndrome treated with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) are unknown. To assess physical examination, pulmonary function tests, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and quality of life at 6 and 12 months after ECMO onset. Background And Aims: Machine learning (ML) models have been proposed as a prognostic clinical tool and superiority over clinical risk scores is yet to be established. Our aim was to analyse the performance of predicting 3-year all-cause- and cardiovascular cause mortality using ML techniques and compare it with clinical scores in a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) population.
Methods: An all-comers patient population treated by PCI in a tertiary cardiovascular centre that have been included prospectively in the local registry between January 2016-December 2017 was analysed.
Background: No large, prospective study has investigated respiratory symptoms in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases. We aimed to describe the prevalence of and factors associated with respiratory symptoms in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
Methods: In an observational, prospective, cross-sectional study, we evaluated the frequency of respiratory symptoms using a validated self-reporting questionnaire from February 2019 to February 2021 during routine follow-up outpatient visits of patients with inflammatory bowel disease followed in the Gastroenterology Department of the Nancy University Hospital.
Introduction: Cough is a major lower airway defense mechanism that can be triggered by exercise in asthma patients. Studies on cough reflex in experimental animal models revealed a decrease of cough reflex sensitivity during exercise in healthy animals, but a lack of desensitization in ovalbumin-sensitized rabbits. The aim of our study is to evaluate the impact of inhaled corticosteroids on cough reflex during artificial limb exercise in an animal model of eosinophilic airway inflammation.
