Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP), primarily a respiratory pathogen, can cause extra-pulmonary manifestations including cold agglutinin syndrome (CAS). We conducted a national, multicenter, observational, ambispective study to describe the characteristics, risk factors, and outcomes of MP-associated CAS. Adult patients hospitalized for a MP-infection with CAS (hemolytic anemia with hemoglobin < 10 g/dL and C3 positive direct anti-globulin test) were included.

We aimed to describe the characteristics of adults hospitalised for M pneumoniae infection and identify factors associated with severe outcomes of infection.
Methods: MYCADO is a retrospective observational study including adults hospitalised for 24 h or more in 76 hospitals in France for a M pneumoniae infection between Sept 1, 2023, and Feb 29, 2024.

Purpose: Although catheter-related infections are the leading cause of bloodstream infections in patients with sickle cell disease (SCD), data are scarce in adult patients. The objectives of the present study were to describe central-venous-catheter-related bloodstream infections in patients with SCD and identify risk factors.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective, observational study of adult patients with SCD diagnosed with central-venous-catheter-related bloodstream infections between 2011 and 2023 in two SCD reference centres.
Background: In order to reduce septic shock mortality, international guidelines recommend early treatment implementation, antibiotic therapy (ABT) and hemodynamic optimisation, within 1-h. This retrospective multicentric study aims to investigate the relationship between prehospital ABT delivered within 1st hour and mean blood pressure (MAP) ≥ 65 mmHg at the end of the prehospital stage, and 30-day mortality among patients with septic shock.
Methods: From May 2016 to December 2021, patients with septic shock requiring pre-hospital Mobile Intensive Care Unit intervention (MICU) were retrospectively analysed.
