Purpose: To develop a theoretical framework for stone removal in flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy (FURL) using a soft-tip negative pressure ureteral access sheath (SNP-UAS), we examined how flow rate (FR) and ratio of endoscope-sheath diameter (RESD) affect maximum pull-back speed (max-PBS) through in vitro experiments and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analyses. Furthermore, we sought to initially clarify the principles behind stone movement in FURL.

Methods: Two sub-studies examined the effects of FR and RESD on PBS during SNP-UAS-assisted FURL while focusing on the principles of stone movement.

Background: Metabolic reprogramming is an important player in the prognosis of cancer patients. However, metabolism-related genes (MRGs) that are essential to the prognosis of bladder cancer (BLCA) are nor yet fully understood. The purpose of this study is to use bioinformatics methods to establish prognostic models based on MRGs in BLCA to screen potential biomarkers.

Background: Rapid lethal exacerbation and recurrence featuring acute leukemoid reaction (ALR) after retrolaparoscopic radical nephrectomy (RN) is a relatively rare clinical incident. Performing the reoperation for the patient and analyzing the tissue-based genetic mutation information postoperatively are a skill-demanding and meaningful task, which have been even more rarely reported.

Case Presentation: We present a case with a large right renal mass (13.
