Ribophorin 1 (RPN1), a key component of the oligosaccharyltransferase complex, is implicated in tumor progression through glycosylation-mediated pathways, yet its pan-cancer roles remain unexplored. This study presents a comprehensive multi-omics analysis of RPN1 across 33 cancers such as sarcoma (SARC), integrating genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data from TCGA, GTEx, and CPTAC. RPN1 was significantly overexpressed in 14 malignancies and correlated with advanced tumor stages and poor prognosis in glioblastoma (GBM), lower-grade glioma, SARC and hepatocellular carcinoma, validated in an independent glioma cohort (n = 151).

However, the causal relationship and directionality between them are still unclear. This study aims to analyze the potential causal relationship between circulating inflammatory proteins and OA using Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis.

Methods: Prospectively select 82 patients with KOA from January 2020 to January 2022 in our hospital and divide them into the control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 41 patients in each group. The control group was treated with arthroscopic surgery alone and routine anti-infection after operation.
Background: Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) hydrogels have been widely used in synthetic cartilage materials. However, limitations of PVA hydrogels such as poor biomechanics and limited cell ingrowth remain challenges in this field.
Methods: This work aimed to design novel nano-hydroxyapatite (nano-HA)/poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) hydrogels coated with a poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA)/nano-HA/PVA scaffold to counter the limitations of PVA hydrogels.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness associated with the use of the cementless femoral revision in patients with a previous cemented prosthesis.
Methods: This study reviewed 92 revision femoral stem performed by a single senior surgeon between January 2006 and December 2012 at our institution. All patients complained of unbearable pain before operation, of which 19 cases had extensively porous-coated revision in Paprosky type I or II femoral defects and 73 had modular tapered revision in type IIIA or IIIB defects.

Objective: To evaluate the mid-term effectiveness of rotating hinge knee prosthesis for severe knee deformity.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was made on the clinical data of 24 patients (24 knees) who received rotating hinge knee prosthesis for total knee arthroplasty between January 2003 and June 2011. There were 14 males and 10 females, aged from 60 to 81 years (mean, 70 years).
