Pancreatic cancer (PC) is a highly aggressive malignancy with limited therapeutic options and poor prognosis. NudC-like protein 2 (NudCL2), a molecular cochaperone of HSP90, has been implicated in various cellular processes; however, its role in pancreatic cancer remains poorly understood. In this study, we report that NudCL2 expression is significantly downregulated in PC tissues and is correlated with poor patient survival.

The present review aimed to summarize the role of inflammation and pyroptosis in early brain injury (EBI), a key determinant of outcomes in aSAH, the interplay between oxidative stress, neuroinflammation and cell death and the immune‑inflammatory response and oxidative stress as central components in the pathogenesis of aSAH. Key signaling pathways include toll‑like receptor 4/NF‑κB and NLR family pyrin domain‑containing 3/gasdermin D pathways, which regulate inflammatory responses and pyroptotic cell death.

We aim to examine the association between a novel inflammatory biomarker Systemic Inflammatory Response Index (SIRI) and different cardiometabolic multimorbidity (CMM) statuses.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional study that includes general participants of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey database from 1999 to 2018.

Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory condition of the arteries, marked by the development of plaques within the arterial intima. The rupture of unstable plaques can lead to thrombosis, downstream vessel occlusion and serious clinical events. The composition of atherosclerotic plaques is complex and highly heterogeneous, posing challenges for their study.

Cytokinesis is required for faithful division of cytoplasmic components and duplicated nuclei into two daughter cells. Midbody, a protein-dense organelle that forms at the intercellular bridge, is indispensable for successful cytokinesis. However, the regulatory mechanism of cytokinesis at the midbody still remains elusive.
