Purpose It has been argued that children are particularly at risk of developing health effects due to the emitted radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF). We designed this cohort to measure the association between exposure to RF-EMF radiation and neurodevelopmental changes in neonates and infants. Methods We present an analysis of 261 observations from a cohort of 105 neonates.

Evaluation of Pediatric Early Warning Score (PEWS) in Unintentional Childhood Injuries Admitted to the Critical Care Unit.

Introduction: Pediatric Early Warning Score (PEWS), also known as Brighton PEWS or Monaghan PEWS, was developed to identify children at risk for clinical deterioration in hospitals. We designed this study to describe the epidemiology of unintentional injuries in children admitted to the critical care unit in a tertiary healthcare setting, and to determine the predictive properties of PEWS in these injuries.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional study.

Acceptance and hesitancy towards COVID-19 vaccines in rural and tribal areas of Maharashtra (India).

Introduction: Hesitancy towards COVID-19 vaccines may be a major hindrance to a successful vaccination program. We assessed the vaccine uptake, facilitators, and barriers for the COVID-19 vaccine in tribal and rural populations in Maharashtra, India.

Methodology: The present study is a cross-sectional analysis of data collected from 373 individuals from six villages (three tribal and three rural) from August 2022 to September 2022.

Assessing the role of mid upper arm circumference in identification of low birthweight and wasting in early infancy in India.

Aim: We conducted this study to examine the mid upper-arm circumference (MUAC) of full-term infants from birth to 6 months; construct gender-specific MUAC graphs; and assess the role of MUAC as a surrogate marker for low birthweight and wasting in infants younger than 6 months.

Methods: This is a prospective longitudinal study of 268 (133 female and 135 male) new-borns in a tertiary care centre in Navi Mumbai, India. We measured weight, length, head circumference and MUAC.
