The transformation of theoretical knowledge into effective patient care is made possible by early exposure to clinical practice. It makes a substantial contribution to helping students acquire basic competencies such as empathy, problem-solving, and communication. The current study intends to determine if improved clinical interaction improves knowledge acquisition and skill acquisition, as well as to support the effect of early preclinical exposure (EPCE) on the academic performance of undergraduate dental students.

Background: Nasal decongestants are widely used to relieve nasal congestion caused by conditions such as allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, and the common cold. These medications function by constricting nasal blood vessels, reducing swelling, and improving airflow. Despite their effectiveness, improper use can result in adverse effects, including rebound congestion and cardiovascular complications.

Introduction: This study explores an interdisciplinary approach involving endodontics, prosthodontics, and periodontics in the management of severely infected teeth.
Methodology: Conducted on 50 cases, the research highlights how a coordinated strategy combining root canal therapy, periodontal regeneration, and prosthetic rehabilitation can provide viable solutions for teeth often deemed unsalvageable. Clinical and radiographic evaluations were conducted at baseline, 6 months, and 12 months, demonstrating significant improvements in periapical healing, periodontal parameters, and prosthetic success.
Introduction: Stainless steel crowns (SSCs) and bands are widely used in pediatric dentistry; however, their impact on periodontal and gingival health requires evaluation. This study aimed to compare the effects of SSCs and bands on Gingival Index (GI), Plaque Index (PI), and Probing Pocket Depth (PPD) over 6 months.
Methodology: Sixty children aged 6-12 years were divided into two groups: SSCs (n = 30) and bands (n = 30).

Background: The interplay between dietary patterns, physical activity, and oral health plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall well-being of children. This study investigates the influence of unhealthy dietary habits and sedentary behavior on the oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) among 1035 children aged 5-12 years.
Objective: The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the influence of unhealthy dietary habits and sedentary behavior on the OHRQoL among children and adolescents especially related to the study of their dietary pattern, sedentary habits, and determination of how dietary habits and sedentary lifestyles affect functional, emotional, and social aspects of OHRQoL.
The relationship between endodontics and orthodontics focusing on root canal-treated teeth under orthodontic forces is of interest. Lower root resorption rates in treated teeth compared to vital teeth were observed. Stress distribution and complications varied, emphasizing the need for careful multidisciplinary treatment planning.

Healthcare professionals (HCPs), despite their pivotal role in promoting health, exhibit notable smoking behaviors influenced by occupational stress and sociodemographic factors. This study investigates these relationships and examines the mediating role of physical exercise in smoking behaviors among HCPs in Pakistan.

This study aims to: (1) assess the oral health status of disabled individuals in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, (2) evaluate their oral hygiene knowledge and behaviors, and (3) determine their caries risk using the Caries Management by Risk Assessment (CAMBRA) protocol.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 189 participants aged 13 years and older, including both young people and adults with hearing, visual, or intellectual disabilities from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia between September 2023 and April 2024.

Evidence suggests that the educational environment directly impacts teaching, learning, well-being, and students' involvement and their successful professional performance. The Undergraduate Clinical Education Environment Measure (UCEEM) is widely used in medical and allied health sciences institutions to evaluate students' perceptions of their clinical learning environment.

This study aimed to investigate the impact of food-based reward behaviors on the oral health of Saudi children.
Methods: An observational cross-sectional study was conducted at Jouf University Hospital, Saudi Arabia.
Purpose: This study assessed the microgap width and adhesion of three bacterial species in four dental implants with different interlocks under four screwing torques.
Materials And Methods: Ten samples of four implant systems with various interlockings, including full-hexagonal (FHI), cylindrical-conical trilobe-index (TLI), Morse-taper with octagon terminal index (OI), and hexagonal interlock (slip-fit) (HI-SF), were used. The abutments were screwed to the fixtures under torques of 10, 20, 30, and 40 Ncm.
Introduction: The use of electronic cigarettes (ECs) has surged globally, particularly among young individuals. This study aimed to assess the perceptions of vaping-related oral health risks, clinical oral health status, and self-perceived dental and periodontal conditions among young adult users of ECs in Pakistan.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted from June 2023 to March 2024, recruiting 142 young users of ECs.
Background: We aimed to review studies that evaluated the effect of cigarette smoking on orthodontic treatment methods and determine whether the smoke affected appliances in a way that could impair the effectiveness of the overall treatment strategy.
Methods: PubMed, Google Scholar, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science were scoured using pertinent keywords, reference searches, and citation searches in accordance with the PRISMA protocol regarding articles published from 2008 till 2022.
Results: Ultimately, 7 papers were chosen for further analysis at the end of the selection protocol.
