Vertical bone loss post-extraction is influenced by inflammatory responses and bone remodeling. Horizontal partial extraction Therapy helps preserve bone by preventing additional resorption. A 50-year-old patient with a fractured incisor was treated using horizontal partial extraction therapy with a root form R3510 implant.

Evidence suggests that the educational environment directly impacts teaching, learning, well-being, and students' involvement and their successful professional performance. The Undergraduate Clinical Education Environment Measure (UCEEM) is widely used in medical and allied health sciences institutions to evaluate students' perceptions of their clinical learning environment.

Aim: To evaluate the initial and final stability of platelet rich fibrin coated implants using resonance frequency analyzer.
Method: ology: Thirteen patients with two or more missing teeth were informed about the procedure, and a consent form was obtained after cone beam computer tomography evaluation.

Background: The process of post-extraction socket healing is critical for ensuring proper tissue repair and minimizing complications in dental practice. Suturing techniques play a pivotal role in this process, influencing wound closure, hemostasis, and overall healing.
Materials And Methods: This prospective clinical trial involved 80 participants who required single-tooth extractions.
Purpose: To evaluate the adherence of three types of bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and the size of the microgap of three different implant systems (JD Icon Plus [JD], ORA system [Ora; Dental Tech], and Ankylos [Dentsply Sirona]) under four different screw torque values.
Materials And Methods: A total of 10 samples for each tested implant system were used under different torques to determine the width of the gaps. The abutments were connected to the fixtures using a universal digital wrench, and an initial torque value of 10 Ncm was applied for all samples.
Aim: To investigate the impact of the curve of Spee (CS) accentuation on bite force, chewing ability, and additionally, other factors that influence chewing ability and bite force such as restorations, caries, gender, habits, and TMJ problems.
Materials And Methods: 231 participants (118 male and 113 female, mean age = ±27.96 years) were recruited for this cross-section study.
Dental veneers are widely used to restore or/and enhance dental aesthetics. However, it is not well understood how various veneer preparation and cementation methods affect periodontal health. To provide a quantitative estimate of the overall effect size of the intervention, this study was conducted to synthesize the available evidence on the impact of various dental veneer preparation and cementation methods on periodontal status.

The condylar guidance value (CGV) measurement constitutes an important part of a holistic prosthodontic treatment plan, with horizontal CGVs (HCGVs) and lateral CGVs (LCGVs) being two of the most prominently recognized. This systematic review aimed at evaluating the efficacy of two different types of CGV measurement protocols-articulators (both arcon and non-arcon) and panoramic radiographs. Additionally, it attempts to determine which of the mentioned methods performs better across several parameters.

Aim: The aim of the present study was to assess oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) among breast cancer patients and identify possible factors associated with the outcome.
Background: The appropriate alignment of the lower teeth is indicated by the Curve of Spee (COS), which can be observed in the sagittal profile view of human skulls. Graf Von Spee made the initial observation on this occlusal curvature. Through this systematic review and meta-analysis, we evaluated studies that looked at how COS affected masticatory activities.

Background: Basal metabolic index (BMI) is a unique anthropometric indicator used to define the relative amount of body fat on an individual's frame. There are many diseases and conditions associated with obesity and underweight. Recent research trials suggest that there is a significant association between oral health indicators and BMI as both are attributed to common risk factors such as dietary, genetic, socioeconomic, and lifestyle issues.

The aim of the study was to translate and validate the Urdu version of the Chronic Oral Mucosal Disease Questionnaire (COMDQ) and measure the oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) in Pakistani patients with chronic oral mucosal disease. One hundred and twenty patients with chronic oral mucosal diseases were recruited for this study. Two types of reliability of the COMDQ were tested.

This observational study was conducted to evaluate the clinical signs and symptoms of maxillary sinus tumors and to propose a clinical examination sieve and a unique risk alarm score to be used for timely patient referral and vigilance. The study consisted of 70 patients between 20 to 82 years of age from both sexes. The clinical information gained was collected from the upper dentoalveolar segment, orbit, and nasal sites.

Accurate detection of plasma concentration in blood samples is one of the most significant usages of biosensors in medicine. In this paper, we report a highly sensitive biosensor using hollow core microstructure optical fibers (HC-MOFs) to detect low index liquid analytes with a particular focus on detection of plasma concentration in blood samples.

Teeth and bones of calvarium are important structures from a forensic point of view, as they are extremely resilient to destruction or decomposition, even under temperature variations. Radiology is inevitably an important tool in forensic investigations. Maxillofacial radiology provides a considerable amount of information for the identification of remains and evidence in case of legal matters.

Purpose: To analyze the stress distribution and the direction of force in external hexagonal implant with crown in three different angulations.
Materials And Methods: A total of 60 samples of geometric models were used to analyze von Mises stress and direction of force with 0-, 5-, and 10-degree lingual tilt. Von Mises stress and force distribution were evaluated at nodes of hard bone, and finite element analysis was performed using ANSYS 12.

Clinical evidence suggests using lateral and vertical ridge preservation procedures to make dental implant placement possible. This study evaluates and compares the radiographic and volumetric changes following ridge preservation procedures using either mineralized plasmatic matrix grafts (MPM) or bone grafts alone (non-MPM) in the existing crestal ridges of sockets in maxillary and mandibular regions using CBCT scans. Healthy volunteers (n = 26) were recruited and randomized into MPM and non-MPM groups (n = 13 patients per group).
