In this study, we examined carrier conduction in a CsBiI (CBI) perovskite through a dual-probe approach using both optical and electrical measurements. We observed that the open-circuit voltage and photocurrent with light intensity follow the ∝ and ∝ relationships, attributed to nonradiative recombination losses and trapping of carriers. Excitation power-dependent photoluminescence behavior indicates the influence of the self-trapped exciton (STE) and strong phonon perturbation at high excitation powers in the CBI lattice.

The system efficiently models radiation transport and predicts patient-specific dose distributions by integrating quantum algorithms, deep learning, and Monte Carlo simulations. Quantum-enhanced Monte Carlo simulations, employing algorithms such as Harrow-Hassidim-Lloyd (HHL) and Variational Quantum Eigensolver (VQE), achieve computational speedups of 8-15 times compared to classical methods while maintaining high accuracy.

To address these challenges, the "Pusa N Doctor" app was developed using dark green colour index (DGCI) for precision N management in maize. The app was further validated in experiment conducted with three N rates- 0 kg/ha (N0PK), 50 kg/ha (N0PK), and 75 kg/ha (N75PK) as basal, along with two splits of N at 35 and 45 DAS as per app (N50PK+App and N75PK+App) and GSTM (N50PK + GSTM and N75PK+GSTM).

Intense cultivation with narrow row spacing in wheat, a common practice in the Indo-Gangetic plains of South Asia, renders the crop more susceptible to lodging during physiological maturity. This susceptibility, compounded by the use of traditional crop cultivars, has led to a substantial decline in overall crop productivity. In response to these challenges, a two-year field study on the system of wheat intensification (SWI) was conducted.

Polyhalite (POLY-4) which contains 14% KO along withcalcium (17% CaO), magnesium (6% MgO), and sulfur (19% S) can be a possible recourse in this regard. In maize-wheat systems, it was evaluated for productivity, profitability, nutrient usage, and nutrient use efficiency under Indo-Gangetic plain (IGP) zones for consecutive two years (2018-19 and 2019-20).

Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a pandemic that has claimed so far over half a million human life across the globe. Researchers all over the world are exploring various molecules including phytochemicals to get a potential anti-COVID-19 drug. Certain phytochemicals present in some spices are claimed to possess antiviral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties.

We wished to calculate this mortality after first-time lower-limb amputation and investigate whether any population or treatment factors are associated with worse mortality.
Objective: To follow up individuals after lower limb amputation and ascertain the mortality rate as well as population or treatment features associated with mortality.

One of the critical alarming constraints for agriculture is water scarcity. In the current scenario, global warming due to climate change and unpredictable rainfall, drought is going to be a master player and possess a big threat to stagnating gene pool of staple food crops. So it is necessary to understand the mechanisms that enable the plants to cope with drought stress.

The synthesized nanostructures were characterized by XRD, TG/DSC, FT-IR and high-resolution electron microscopy techniques. The nanostructures revealed dependence of particle size, stoichiometry, optical band gap and luminescence intensity on calcination temperatures.

A cross-sectional study was conducted on Lucknow highway in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh to study the knowledge of truck drivers about HIV transmission and prevention and to study the sexual behaviour of these drivers with reference to HIV/AIDS. Age, marital status, education, income, drinking alcohol, length of stay away from home, knowledge about transmission and prevention of HIV, and HIV-prone behavior of truck drivers were studied. Chi-square, mean, and SD were calculated.
