Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is characterized by reproductive and endocrine abnormalities.
Objective: The present study aimed to assess the effect of oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) and vitamin D3 on sexual dysfunction in women with PCOS and vitamin D3 deficiency.
Materials And Methods: This randomized double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial was conducted in Iran between January and April 2019.
Scar formation, the most common complication of burns, significantly impacts patients' quality of life. This study evaluates how the hospital-to-home care transition program reduces scar-related complications and improves health-related quality of life in patients with deep partial-thickness burns. This semi-experimental study involved 80 patients with deep partial-thickness burns, selected through convenience sampling and randomly assigned-by coin flipping-to the intervention group (n = 40) or the control group (n = 40).

Methods: From 2020 to 2021, a randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted on 97 women with PCOS and MetS. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either garlic tablets (500 mg containing 2-3 mg allicin; n = 49) or placebo tablets (n = 48) twice daily for 8 weeks.

The Seven-Step (7E) model enhances critical thinking and problem-solving skills using previous experiences. One hundred participants from June 2023 to September 2023 were selected using convenience sampling and randomly assigned to two groups (experimental and control) in blocks using software. The experimental group was instructed to apply the topical solution of Scrophularia Striata once daily, saturating the ulcer area completely using an applicator on the peristomal skin, repeating this process every day for 14 consecutive days.

This prospective study was carried out at Arash Women's Hospital (Tehran, Iran) from September 2023 to June 2024. All PCOS women who were referred for any gynecological examination were screened.

Background: Post-traumatic growth (PTG) is a significant factor influencing health outcomes. This research aims to determine the status of PTG and its correlation with resilience, self-compassion (SC) and personal and clinical characteristics in adolescents with life-threatening diseases.
Methods: In this cross-sectional correlational study, 200 adolescents with life-threatening disease who were referred to clinics or hospitalized at Shohada Tajrish and children's Medical Center hospitals from June to October 2023 in Tehran, Iran, were selected through convenience sampling.

Background: Hip fracture (HF) in older adults is strongly associated with a greater decline in their activities of daily living (ADLs) and health-related (HRQoL). The present study aimed to evaluate the effects of a family-based care transition program (FBCTP) on ADLs, HRQoL and social support in this age group after HF surgery.
Methods: A quasi-experimental design was conducted on 100 older adults who had undergone HFS and were selected by convenience sampling and allocated to the IG (n = 50) and the CG (n = 50).
Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of a hospital-to-home care transition (H2H-CT) program on perceived stress and readiness for hospital discharge (RHD) in mothers of children with congenital heart disease (CHD) undergoing corrective surgery.
Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design and involved 78 mother-child dyads, 40 dyads in the intervention group and 38 dyads in the control group, who were affected by CHD undergoing corrective surgery. The participants received the H2H-CT program, which consisted of six face-to-face training sessions during hospitalization and six telephone counselling sessions.
