[Clinical efficiency of polyvalent piobacteriophage in the complex treatment of nosocomial sinusitis].

The article presents the results of the study of polyvalent pyobacteriophage in the complex therapy of nosocomial sinusitis in 30 patients of intensive care units of a multidisciplinary hospital in Moscow. The etiologic factors of nosocomial sinusitis manifestation were the following microorganisms: According to the results of the study it was revealed that at the empirical phage therapy the regression of the main clinical symptomatology was achieved in 90% of patients. The average number of days of this therapy before registration of clinical sanation of the maxillary sinus was 4±1.

[Methods of stenting of the lacrimal tract in the formation of dacryostomy].

Currently, research continues in the field of drainage surgery of the lacrimal ducts. Lacrimal implants require further improvement and modification, new methods and systems for intubation are constantly being created.

Comparative Genetic Diversity of Landlocked Seals.

Genetic diversity of neutral markers (15 microsatellite loci) was assessed for the first time in two landlocked seal species, the Baikal seal Pusa sibirica and Caspian seal P. caspica, and compared with that in the oceanic species ringed seal P. hispida of the same genus.

[Laparoscopic ALPPS procedure: a series of cases].

One of the methods for increasing resectability is the use of two-stage liver resection (associated liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy - ALPPS).

[Modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of lacrimal stenosis. Literature review].

This analysis is based on the study of Russian and foreign literature sources devoted to both high-tech and routine methods of studying the lacrimal drainage system, as well as the description of modern methods of conservative and surgical treatment of lacrimal stenosis. This article gives information about advantages and disadvantages of each of the methods of diagnosis and treatment of obliteration of the lacrimal tract, highlights the questions of their usage in dacryology.
