As a re-emerging disease, the worldwide burden and trends of yellow fever (YF) remain inadequately quantified. This study aims to assess the incidence of YF both globally and in major endemic regions from 1990 to 2021. Utilizing data from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) database, we evaluated the burden of YF.

Although preventive vaccine is available, HBV infection continues to be a global health challenge, especially in rapid and accurate screening in resource-limited regions due to underdeveloped infrastructures. In this study, we developed a self-powered DNA walker system integrating AuNPs and DNAzyme for direct detection of HBV DNA in blood. In the presence of HBV DNA, this DNA walker was activated to start autonomous and rapid movement on AuNPs driven by DNAzyme, and the amplified fluorescent signals were generated and detected.

Data were exclusively obtained from the 2021 Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study, which examined trends in the burden of AHC in terms of incidence, mortality and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) across 204 countries and territories globally from 2009 to 2021. In 2021, there were 7,009,910.

The primary mosquito-borne viruses that present this threat are Zika virus, Chikungunya virus, and Dengue virus. At present, there are limited efficacious vaccines or therapeutic drugs for the prevention and treatment of these viral infections.

In the present study, we used a doubled haploid (DH) population that was established in our previous work to construct a genetic linkage map of P. yezoensis and analyze the quantitative trait loci (QTLs) of blades.
