Prognostic value of baseline glucose levels for mortality in patients with cardiogenic shock: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Baseline glucose levels have been implicated in the prognosis of critically ill patients. However, the prognostic value of glucose in patients with cardiogenic shock (CS) has not been systematically evaluated. The current study aimed to provide evidence that baseline glucose levels can predict mortality in patients with CS.

Factors affecting compliance with oral anticoagulant medication for secondary prevention in middle-aged and young patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention and the establishment of a prediction model.

Patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) who undergo percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) may exhibit suboptimal adherence to oral anticoagulant therapy due to various factors. This study aims to investigate the determinants influencing adherence to oral anticoagulant therapy in middle-aged and young CHD patients following PCI. We conducted a retrospective analysis on the clinical data of 310 middle-aged and young CHD patients who underwent PCI treatment at The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine between 6 month 2023 and 8 month 2024, monitored for 6 months and categorized them into a non-compliance group (n=86) and a compliance group (n=224).

Development of a convenient and effective hypertension risk prediction model and exploration of the relationship between Serum Ferritin and Hypertension Risk: a study based on NHANES 2017-March 2020.

Background: Hypertension is a major public health problem, and its resulting other cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide. In this study, we constructed a convenient and high-performance hypertension risk prediction model to assist in clinical diagnosis and explore other important influencing factors.

Methods: We included 8,073 people from NHANES (2017-March 2020), using their 120 features to form the original dataset.
