Background: The impact of insulin resistance (IR) on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) has caught increasing attention, and the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index and related indices are deemed reliable indicators for evaluating IR. Nevertheless, the potential associations of TyG and obesity-related indexes with COPD are currently understudied. Hence, this paper was to inspect the links of TyG and obesity-related indices with COPD.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of clinical data from 219 NSCLC patients treated with ICIs at Zhongshan Hospital (Xiamen), Fudan University from June 1, 2019 to January 31, 2024. The therapeutic efficacy and predictive capabilities of the scoring systems were assessed using Kaplan-Meier curves, Cox proportional hazards models, time-dependent ROC curves, and random survival forest models.
Background: The eosinophil-to-monocyte ratio (EMR) has emerged as a promising biomarker for assessing inflammation in various diseases, and this study aims to investigate its potential in predicting asthma exacerbations.
Methods: This cross-sectional study used data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 1999-2020. A total of 4,738 adults were included in the analysis, and weighted analyses were performed to ensure a representative sample of the general population.
Purpose: Anlotinib is widely used in the treatment of lung cancer. However, there remains a lack of predictive biomarkers to effectively gauge the response to anlotinib therapy. We conducted a retrospective study to preliminarily explore potential risk factors that might predict outcomes in lung cancer patients undergoing anlotinib treatment.

Materials And Methods: We conducted a systematic search of PubMed, Cochrane, Embase, and Web of Science up until July 2023. We discussed the genetic mutation status of EGFR, ALK, KRAS, and BRAF, as well as the mutation status at different sites of EGFR.
Objective: Researches about the association between serum albumin-to-globulin ratio (AGR) and the prognosis of lung cancer are limited. We aimed to investigate the relationship between AGR and overall survival (OS) in patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated with anlotinib.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted on 196 advanced NSCLC patients with anlotinib treatment between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2021.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to construct a nomogram prediction model for tumour spread through air spaces (STAS) in clinical stage I non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and discuss its potential application value.
Methods: A total of 380 patients with clinical stage I NSCLC in Tianjin Chest Hospital were collected as the training cohort and 285 patients in Fujian Provincial Hospital were collected as the validation cohort. Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analyses were performed to determine independent factors for STAS in the training cohort.
