The oxidation behavior of high entropy alloys (HEAs) has garnered growing attention owing to their potential applications in extremely harsh environments. Although some efforts have been made in newly developed data science methods, bottlenecks have arisen regarding the complex effect of multi-component alloying on the oxidation behavior. To extend the prior knowledge of the physical process of oxidation, we systematically analyze the elemental composition, local chemical environment, microstructure, and thermal oxidation behavior from a theoretical perspective, along with their relationships.

To characterize the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and ozone (O) pollution in Suqian and quantitatively evaluate the contribution from industrial emissions, online measurements of 116 types of VOCs were carried out in Suqian in the summer of 2023 together with offline samples collected in a typical industrial area. Combined with other measurements and receptor models, the mass variations of VOCs, source apportionment, and O pollution were investigated. The (TOVCs) during the monitoring period was 21.

Freeze-thaw (F-T) is one of the principal perils afflicting concrete pavements. A remedial strategy used during construction encompasses the integration of hybrid fibers into the concrete matrix. An extant research gap persists in elucidating the damage mechanism inherent in hybrid steel fiber (SF)- and basalt fiber (BF)-reinforced concrete subjected to F-T conditions.

To intercept the great maneuvering target, combining with the sliding mode and the extended disturbance observer, a new control algorithm for integrated guidance and control (IGC) system is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the paper formulates the Missile-Target problem. Then the paper establishes an uncertain IGC dynamic model where the nonlinearities, the perturbations and the maneuvering of the target are regarded as disturbance.

With steel fiber and basalt fiber volume dosing serving as variation parameters, a total of 200 d cycles of acid rain corrosion cycle tests were conducted on fiber concrete in this study. We selected three durability evaluation parameters to assess the degree of damage deterioration on fiber concrete, used scanning electron microscopy, mercury intrusion porosimetry, and a dimensional microhardness meter to analyze the concrete micromorphology, and established a GM(1,1)-Markov model for life prediction of its durability. Results reveal that the acid rain environment is the most sensitive to the influence of the relative dynamic elastic modulus evaluation parameter, and concrete has specimens that show failure damage under this parameter evaluation.

To obtain a more general dynamic model, we describe the quadrotor system in a non-affine pure-feedback form with mismatched unknown nonlinearities. By employing an adaptive neural networks state observer to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions and to reconstruct the immeasurable inner states, we propose a novel distributed output feedback formation control protocol with the backstepping method combining with the dynamic surface control technique.

Haze pollution caused by heavy particulate matter (PM) loading brings significant damage in eastern China. Long-term monitoring from 1980 to 2011 and 1-year field measurement in 2011-2012 are used for investigating visibility variation and the impact of PM pollution for the Yangtze River Delta (YRD). It was found that visual range in the YRD endured a sharp reduction from 13.

However, research regarding the joint effects of reactive chemicals is lacking. In this study, we examined two kinds of reactive chemicals, cyanogenic toxicants and aldehydes and determined their joint effects on Photobacterium phosphoreum.
