Purpose: This study investigates the prognostic impact of SOCS1 mutations in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and explores the underlying biological mechanisms, focusing on immune regulation and cellular metabolism.
Materials And Methods: We included 2,590 DLBCL patients from 7 publicly databases (integrated cohort) and 202 additional DLBCL cases from our institution (JSPH cohort). Next-generation sequencing (NGS) was used to detect SOCS1 mutations in DLBCL patients.
Monoclonal gammopathy (MG) in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) portends heterogeneous outcomes, yet its molecular drivers and therapeutic implications remain undefined. In this retrospective analysis of 2,075 CLL patients (1999-2024), MG was detected in 18.47% cases, with IgM (8.

Elderly groups usually have an inflammatory response in their bodies, and neuroinflammation is the main pathogenic mechanism of neurological diseases. Pharmacological and pharmacodynamic experiments showed that aspirin eugenol ester (AEE) had good anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-hyperlipidemic effects. However, whether AEE can prevent neurological diseases in the old companion animal has not been explored.

Purpose: CD58, a ligand of the CD2 receptor on T cells and NK cells, is abnormally expressed in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). However, data on the value of CD58 mutation (CD58mut) in DLBCL are limited. Here, we aimed to evaluate the characteristics and prognostic value of CD58mut in DLBCL patients.

Purpose: B celltranslocation gene 1 (BTG1) is a highly conserved gene and recurrently mutated in the MCD subtype of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). The specific enrichment of BTG1 mutation (BTG1mut) raises a potential hypothesis that they may actively contribute to DLBCL. However, the biological characteristics and prognostic significance of BTG1 in DLBCL remain to be explored.

Despite the relatively favorable prognosis of ALK-positive (ALK) ALCL, approximately 30-40% of patients experience relapses or disease progression. This work identifies protein tyrosine phosphatase PTPN2 as a critical gene essential for the growth and survival of ALK ALCL by CRISPR/Cas9 editing.

Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is predominant subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and can be effectively treated. Nevertheless, a subset of patients experiences refractory or relapsed disease, highlighting the need for new therapeutic strategies.
Methods: Depmap database based on CRISPR/Cas9 knock out analysis was employed to identify the essential gene SH3GL1, which encodes endophilin A2, as crucial for the proliferation and survival of DLBCL cells.
The objectives of the study were to design, synthesize, and evaluate the antibacterial activity of a series of novel aminoguanidine-indole derivatives. Thirty-seven new compounds were effectively synthesized through nucleophilic substitution reaction and guanidinylation reaction. Chemical structures of all the desired compounds were identified by NMR and HR-MS spectroscopy.

A series of novel thiazole-pleuromutilin derivatives were designed and synthesized, and their antibacterial activities were evaluated. Most of the synthesized derivatives showed good activity against Gram-positive bacteria, among which compound h19 was more prominent and had the strongest antibacterial activity against MRSA. Compound h19 was selected for further evaluation of bacterial time-kill kinetics, and the results demonstrated its highly promising efficacy in inhibiting MRSA growth.

Precision medicine in less-defined subtype diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) remains a challenge due to the heterogeneous nature of the disease. Programmed cell death (PCD) pathways are crucial in the advancement of lymphoma and serve as significant prognostic markers for individuals afflicted with lymphoid cancers. To identify robust prognostic biomarkers that can guide personalized management for less-defined subtype DLBCL patients, we integrated multi-omics data derived from 339 standard R-CHOP-treated patients diagnosed with less-defined subtype DLBCL from three independent cohorts.

Double expression (DE) is a World Health Organization-recognized adverse prognostic factor in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). However, the prognostic value of DE in the genetic subtyping era and potential mechanisms remain to be explored. We enrolled 246 DLBCL patients diagnosed between December 2021 and September 2023 in a Jiangsu Province Hospital cohort and included 930 DLBCL patients from three published studies in an external cohort.

Aspirin eugenol ester (AEE) is a novel medicinal compound synthesized by esterifying aspirin with eugenol using the pro-drug principle. Pharmacological and pharmacodynamic experiments showed that AEE has excellent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and inhibitory platelet activation effects, preventing thrombosis.

TP53 mutation (TP53-mut) correlates with inferior survival in many cancers, whereas its prognostic role in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is still in controversy. Therefore, more precise risk stratification needs to be further explored for TP53-mut DLBCL patients. A set of 2637 DLBCL cases from multiple cohorts, was enrolled in our analysis.

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), accounts for 30-40% of newly diagnosed lymphomas, has an overall cure rate of approximately 60%. Despite previous reports suggesting a negative prognostic association between CCND3 mutations and Burkitt lymphoma, their prognostic implications in DLBCL remain controversial. To investigate this, we evaluated CCND3 mutation status in 2059 DLBCL patient samples from four database (integrated cohort) and additional 167 DLBCL patient samples in our center (JSPH cohort).

The effectiveness of colistin has been compromised due to its intensive use.

Here, we find that CD36, a transporter for exogenous lipids, promotes acute myeloid leukemia (AML) immune evasion. We show that, separately from its established role in lipid oxidation, CD36 on AML cells senses oxidized low-density lipoprotein (OxLDL) to prime the TLR4-LYN-MYD88-nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) pathway, and exogenous palmitate transfer via CD36 further potentiates this innate immune pathway by supporting ZDHHC6-mediated MYD88 palmitoylation.
