This study developed an effective combination of and (SNE) and evaluated its anti-inflammatory and anti-hyperuricemic effects under conditions. First, the effect of SNE was tested on xanthine oxidase (XOD) activity. To investigate the anti-inflammatory effect of SNE, nitric oxide (NO) production was detected by Griess assay, and proinflammatory cytokines were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in RAW264.

This study addresses the need for innovative approaches to upcycling rice bran as a biomass resource. A novel upcycling ingredient derived from rice bran was developed, and its application in the production of rice crackers with enhanced texture was explored. The effects of different emulsifier types and concentrations on the texture, flavor, and overall quality of rice crackers-by influencing the uniformity of oil and moisture in the formulation-were confirmed through systematic analytical methods.

Article Synopsis
  • ME/CFS is a serious illness that makes people very tired, affecting about 1 out of every 100 people worldwide, and it's hard for doctors to measure how tired someone really feels.
  • Researchers looked at 60 studies with over 7,000 ME/CFS patients to understand how bad their fatigue was and found that most had a fatigue level of about 78 out of 100.
  • The study showed that fatigue can be different for people based on their age, the type of treatments they receive, and how their fatigue is measured.

Particulate matter (PM) 10 refers to fine dust with a diameter of less than 10 µm and induces apoptosis and inflammatory responses through oxidative stress. Tanaka is a citrus fruit and contains bioactive flavonoids including naringin. In the present study, we aimed to identify the preventive effect of Tanaka peel extract (CPE) against PM-induced lung injury.

A novel, rapid, simultaneous analysis method for five sugars (fructose, glucose, sucrose, maltose, and lactose) and eight sugar alcohols (erythritol, xylitol, sorbitol, mannitol, inositol, maltitol, lactitol, and isomalt) was developed using UPLC-ELSD, without derivatization. The analysis conditions, including the gradient conditions, modifier concentration and column length, were optimized. Thirteen sugars and sugar alcohols were separated well and the resolution of their peaks was above 1.
