Situs inversus totalis (SIT) is a rare condition characterised by the reversed positioning of abdominal and thoracic viscera. The anomaly poses a significant anatomical challenge during routine endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Here, we present the case of a 51-year-old patient with SIT and obstructive jaundice due to a periampullary mass.

Calcifying Nested Stromal-Epithelial Tumor: An Extremely Rare Hepatic Tumor.

Calcifying nested stromal-epithelial tumor is a rare hepatic malignancy with approximately 50 cases reported in the literature. Its clinical presentation is nonspecific, and the diagnosis is mainly based on histology which shows nests of spindle and epithelioid cells along with a desmoplastic myofibroblastic stroma containing variable calcification and ossification. In this report, we present a case of a 24-year-old woman with a history of abdominal pain, distension, and dyspepsia.

In this study, we present a case of a 65-year-old man with a history of obstructive jaundice secondary to a large CBD stone.

Determination of ionization constant, commonly termed pKa is of prime interest in a wide range of pharmaceutical Research fields. The pKa of a compound is critical as it influences on its physicochemical parameters in biological and environmental systems. The study of pKa is also essential not only for the formulation of drugs and optimization of a variety of novel analytical methods, establishing new pharmaceutical dosage forms yet the exploration of the mechanism of action of drugs.

Role of casting and curing conditions on the strength and drying shrinkage of greener concrete.

The shrinkage of cement-based materials is a critical dimensional property that needs proper attention as it can influence the corresponding characteristics especially when the preparation of such cement-based material is done in hot weather. Studies have shown that the casting or curing conditions influence the performance of concrete. However, there is limited understanding of the combined role of casting temperature and curing conditions, especially for concrete made with unconventional binders.

Factors predicting severe dengue in patients with dengue Fever.

Introduction: Dengue virus (DENV) affects over half the world's population in 112 countries, and dengue fever (DF) is the second largest arthropod borne infectious global hazard after malaria with complications like Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) and Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS), accounting for significant morbidity and mortality world-over. Pakistan is significantly affected with DENV infection and to-date no study identifying risk factors associated with development of severe complications of DF has been done.

Methods: 997 confirmed cases of DF were collected from a tertiary care hospital in Lahore, Pakistan and their clinical and biochemical data were collected.
