Long non-coding RNA HOX transcript antisense RNA (HOTAIR) has been demonstrated to exhibit oncogenic activity in several types of cancer, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the association between HOTAIR and HCC multidrug resistance remains uncertain.
