Childhood cancer survivors are at risk for physiological, psychosocial, and school difficulties following treatment. It is well documented that Latinx childhood cancer survivors are underrepresented in the literature. Little is known about their lived experiences, the role of culture in their psychosocial or school outcomes, and their experiences with culturally relevant interventions.

Promoting radical healing to facilitate community capacity building among formerly incarcerated Black and Latino men with substance use disorders.

This study reports on a qualitative thematic analysis of secondary data from group session recordings collected as part of the Community Wise Optimization Trial. Community Wise is a multilevel behavioral intervention designed to increase critical consciousness and reduce substance use among formerly incarcerated men living in predominantly Black and historically disinvested communities (BHDC). Radical healing is a process of recovering from the trauma of oppression based on identification with historically marginalized groups.

Objective: To identify distinct and heterogeneous typologies of behavioral health service use and associated factors based on need, predisposing, and enabling determinants, among a predominantly Black and publicly insured youth population in integrated pediatric primary care (IPPC). Since then, publishers of rheumatology educational materials have focused on addressing this shortcoming. The NCCB Case Example: Reflections on a Successful Fourteen-Year CBPR Partnership.

The Newark Community Collaborative Board (NCCB) is in its fourteenth year of operation with nine successful research projects and more than six million dollars in funding. The NCCB began with a community needs assessment in Newark, New Jersey, that led to the subsequent establishment of a community collaborative board (CCB) of consumers, researchers, service providers, and residents committed to advocating for health equity through community engagement and research informed by critical thinking. This paper explores the NCCB's history and processes that allowed conducting community-based participatory research (CBPR) to reduce inequities related to social determinants of health (SDH).

Power of Representation in Educational Materials: Teaching Cutaneous Lupus Across Skin Tones in an Interactive Module.

Objective: Clinicians report low confidence assessing cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) lesions, especially for patients who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) who are historically excluded from educational materials. To address this, we created an online, interactive module teaching an approach to assessing CLE across skin tones and measured its impact on medical knowledge and confidence.

Methods: Our team created a module with case-based methods to introduce an approach to CLE, common mimicking rashes, and tips for photographing cutaneous lesions in BIPOC.

The Impact of Social Determinants of Health on the Efficacy of School-Based Interventions for Adolescents with ADHD.

Adolescents with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) experience significant impairment in functioning. There are multiple clinic-based interventions that address these impairments (e.g.

Eosinophilic folliculitis, eosinophilic dermatosis of hematologic malignancy and acneiform follicular mucinosis: Two case reports and a review of the literature highlighting the spectrum of histopathology.

Within the literature, there is overlap in the histopathological features described in eosinophilic folliculitis associated with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), eosinophilic dermatosis of hematologic malignancy, and acneiform follicular mucinosis. These disorders are described with varying degrees of superficial and deep lymphocytic and eosinophilic inflammation demonstrating perivascular, perifollicular, and folliculocentric involvement with or without follicular mucin deposition. Given significant histopathological overlap, these diagnoses may represent a continuum on a spectrum of dermatoses.

Rapid telepsychology deployment during the COVID-19 pandemic: A special issue commentary and lessons from primary care psychology training.

Objective: This article positions the special issue on telepsychology amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, which has dramatically accelerated the adoption and dissemination of telepsychology.

Method: The article makes general observations about the themes emerging in the special issue with considerations for application, training, theory-driven research, and policy. It then presents as a case example the rapid deployment during the pandemic of telepsychology doctoral training and services at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Primary Care Psychology Collaborative.

Automated parenteral chemotherapy dose-banding to improve patient safety and decrease drug costs.

Purpose: To improve patient safety and reduce drug waste through implementation of automated parenteral chemotherapy dose-banding within an electronic health record.

Methods: Parenteral chemotherapy dose-rounding practices were transitioned from a manual, pharmacist-driven workflow to an automated process within the electronic health record. Initial medications transitioned included bevacizumab, rituximab, and trastuzumab.

Background: Experiencing mental health difficulties during pregnancy predicts a variety of quality-of-life (QoL) outcomes for Black women. However, one area of prenatal mental health remains underresearched: attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Given the impairments reported by adults with significant symptoms of ADHD and the linkages between depression and ADHD in nonpregnant samples, the current study aimed to examine the relationships among ADHD symptoms, depression, and QoL in Black pregnant women.
