Although many studies investigate the effectiveness of peer group therapy, there is a lack of evidence addressing the cost-effectiveness of CBPR models in low- and middle-income countries. Accuracy of biometry using automated and manual keratometry for intraocular lens power calculation.

Introduction: A comparison of precision of intraocular implant power calculation by computing keratometry values by two different methods, namely, the automated and manual keratometry (MK), was done. For checking this accuracy, the parameter taken into consideration was the absolute refractive error which was ascertained postoperatively.

Background: For a long time, there have been arguments about which factors influence the skill development of students with intellectual disability in rehabilitation centers.

Objective: The present follow-up study was thus planned to analyze the effect of the demographic variables related to disabled child, his/her parents and the family; their schooling pattern and types of study settings and the associated comorbidities on improvement in the performance score of students attending these study settings in one academic year.

Methods: The study was conducted among children (n = 204) with intellectual disability receiving rehabilitation services in centers run by a nongovernmental organization in two districts of Central India.

High resolution spectral analysis of oxygen. II. Rotational spectra of a(1)Δ(g) O2 isotopologues.

As part of a comprehensive review on molecular oxygen spectroscopy, we have measured rotational spectra of isotopic forms of molecular oxygen in its a(1)Δ(g) electronic state with high-resolution terahertz spectroscopy. The data are recorded in close proximity to predicted positions. Due to the high resolution and good signal-to-noise ratio, the fundamental hyperfine parameters eQq and C(I) are determinable for (17)O-substituted species for the first time.

The C 1B1<--X 1A1 band system of the potential interstellar species Si3C has been recorded in a silane/acetylene discharge by resonant two-color two-photon ionization spectroscopy. The origin band is located near 24,925 cm-1 (3.09 eV).
