Precis: Netarsudil shows promise as a second line drug in early glaucoma patients with an increase in most OCTA parameters as compared to Dorzolamide, with comparable rates of side effects.
Objective: To compare the effect of Netarsudil and Dorzolamide on macular and optic nerve head (ONH) perfusion changes on Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCTA), and macular ganglion cell layer (mGCL) and peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (pRNFL) thickness on OCT in preperimetric/early glaucoma patients.
Participants And Methods: In this prospective, randomized, parallel group, active controlled trial 90 preperimetric/early glaucoma eyes were recruited.

Aims: A review of the published literature was done to understand the role of endocannabinoids in glaucoma.
Background: As evidence mounts that intraocular pressure (IOP) is not the only factor in the pathogenesis and progression of glaucoma, a look into other aspects is the need of the hour. From the first instance of a drop in IOP linked to marijuana in the 1970s to the present, research has been ongoing, mostly in animals and models, with a scarcity of human studies, to delve into the world of the endocannabinoid system (ECS).
Purpose: To describe the demographics and clinical profile of pseudoexfoliation-like (PXFL) material in young patients.
Methods: In this cross-sectional, hospital-based study, the participants were children aged ≤16 years who were observed to have PXFL material in at least one eye. The data of patients presenting between August 2010 and December 2021 were collected using an electronic medical record system and analyzed.
Purpose: To compare the retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL), ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer thickness, central subfield thickness (CSFT), and parafoveal and perifoveal thickness in children of different age groups with young adult controls by using spectral-domain optical coherence tomography.
Methods: This cross-sectional study included children aged 6-17 years and adult controls (18-22 years) - group 1: 6-9 years (57 eyes), group 2: 10-13 years (116 eyes), group 3: 14-17 years (66 eyes), and group 4 (controls): 18-22 years (61 eyes). A mixed-effects model was used to compare the OCT parameters among the groups, along with multivariable analysis.

Methods: This retrospective hospital-based study included 417,622 patients presenting between January 2013 and December 2020. Patients who were administered either topical, local or general anaesthesia for ocular surgery in at least one eye were included as cases.
Purpose: To compare the levels of endocannabinoids (EC) in plasma, aqueous humor and tears, cortisol in plasma and aqueous, in primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) and controls, while comparing the quality of life in both groups.
Methods: A total of 60 patients, ≥40years of age, with a diagnosis of PACG or cataract, 30 in each group were recruited. A 69-year-old male patient with Pseudoexfoliation and open angle glaucoma presented with malignant glaucoma 1 week after undergoing gonioscopy-assisted transluminal trabeculotomy (GATT). This is a rare sight-threatening complication following gonioscopy-assisted transluminal trabeculotomy . A high index of suspicion, early detection, and prompt institution of medical therapy and YAG hyaloidotomy, helped in the resolution of the condition with good intraocular pressure control and visual improvement.

Methods: PubMed, Science Direct, Cochrane Library and Google Scholar were searched comprehensively and systematically to find studies related to the various modalities of ciliary body imaging.
Results: The various ciliary body parameters that have been described are Ciliary body thickness, Ciliary body length, ciliary muscle thickness, ciliary process length, ciliary muscle length, ciliary muscle anterior length, trabecular ciliary process distance and Iris ciliary process distance.
Purpose: This study aimed to assess details of therapy required to achieve an intraocular pressure (IOP) of ⩽12 mmHg in patients with severe glaucoma of different etiologies.
Methods: Patients with a follow-up of at least 1 year, who fulfilled inclusion criteria were selected, and data analyzed with respect to baseline IOP, number of medications, and/or surgeries required to achieve an IOP of ⩽12 mmHg and ⩾6 mmHg. Final IOP, visual field status and medications/surgery required were noted.
While lasers have been used for many years for the treatment of glaucoma, proper indications and use of the procedures need to be considered before their application. This review summarizes the important laser procedures in Glaucoma.
