Introduction: As the robotic surgical burden of diseases increases, the development of skilled surgeons and nursing surgery teams is of fundamental importance. The Kirkpatrick Model is a widely recognised evaluation framework that helps educators assess the impact and effectiveness of educational interventions. However, there is little evidence regarding the effectiveness of robotic surgical training programmes for nursing teams.

Refugee status leads to a higher prevalence of mental illness, which may also arise or be worsened by post-migration stressors. Although a growing literature on the social determinants of mental health, little is known on the Ukrainian refugee population.

Background: Establishing proximity care pathways, including the digitalization of healthcare, is valuable for sustainable management of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and Patient-Centered Care (PCC) promotion. However, new safety concerns, particularly in therapy management, may arise. The Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) "ProSafe" aims at (i) explore stakeholders' perspectives on medication safety management in proximity care and (ii) analyze which determinants affect the community's perspective.

We assessed emotional distress in individuals impacted by an adverse event using the Withstand-PSY Questionnaire (WS-PSY-Q). Additionally, we aimed to identify potential risk factors for anxiety and depression.

While preclinical assessment of drug-induced gastrointestinal toxicity mostly relies on animal experimentation, intestinal organoids have gained increasing attention to identify gastrointestinal toxicants in vitro. Nonetheless, current in vitro protocols primarily assess structural alterations induced by drugs, whereas gastrointestinal adverse events can often stem from functional disturbances.

This study investigates the patient safety culture (PSC) in NHs within a northern Italian region, focusing on factor influencing overall safety perceptions and their contributions to subjective judgements of safety. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 25 NHs in the Autonomous Province of Trento.

In Veneto Region, HPV vaccine has been actively offered to 12 year-old females since 2008, and to 12 year-old males since 2015. The study aims to analyze the safety profile of HPV4v and HPV9v vaccines and perform a case-by-case review of conditions of interest. Spontaneous reports related to HPV uploaded to the database of the Regional Pharmacovigilance Center between 2008-2022 were included.

NMR and DFT data indicate no major structural difference between the resulting heterobridged complexes, all characterized by the presence of multiple α-agostic interactions.

Background & Aims: In the classic form of α1-antitrypsin deficiency (ATD), the misfolded α1-antitrypsin Z (ATZ) variant accumulates in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) of liver cells. A gain-of-function proteotoxic mechanism is responsible for chronic liver disease in a subgroup of homozygotes. Proteostatic response pathways, including conventional endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation and autophagy, have been proposed as the mechanisms that allow cellular adaptation and presumably protection from the liver disease phenotype.

Additionally, unintended adverse drug effects on angiogenesis might lead to promotion of tumor progression and cardiovascular complications. Several tri-dimensional microfluidic vessel-on-chip systems have been described that allow a more accurate investigation of vascular physiology and pathology, compared to the two-dimensional static culture of endothelial cells.

Since it is not accurately captured by existing psychometric instruments, we developed a clinimetric instrument for assessing SVs' emotional distress before and after an AE.
Methods: Content validity and clinical utility of the WITHSTAND-PSY Questionnaire (WS-PSY-Q) were examined using cognitive interviews.
Nursing home (NH) residents are vulnerable subjects and highly susceptible to adverse events. Knowledge of patient safety culture (PSC) is essential for an organization to ensure patient safety. However, research on PSC in NHs, and its variability among staff, is still scarce.

Although substantial resources have been invested in scaling COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, globally vaccine rate and uptake remained low among migrants from across many countries. This study aimed to explore the country of birth as a factor influencing access to the COVID-19 vaccine.

The presence of antidrug antibodies (ADAs) in these patients led to the initial hypothesis that immune complexes could be key mediators. Although the formation of ADAs and immune complexes may be a prerequisite, other factors likely contribute to some patients having RV/RO, whereas the vast majority do not.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of different strategies to ascertain COVID-19 recovery in HCWs.
Methods: Data were collected from the hospital health surveillance program on HCWs at the University Hospital of Verona between 29/02/2020 and 14/04/2021.
Background: Whether sex can influence the clinical response to biological treatment in patients with severe asthma has not been fully addressed.
Aims And Methods: The aim of this study was to investigate in patients with severe asthma undergoing biological treatment the individual evolution of lung function measurements and patient-reported asthma control scores over a 12-month follow-up period, in relation to patients' sex, in different age ranges. Second, the change in the administered dose of oral corticosteroids (OCS) before and after 12 months of treatment was investigated.
Background And Aim: On January 9, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared that Chinese health authorities had identified a new coronavirus strain never before isolated in humans, the 2019-nCoV later redefined SARS-CoV-2, that still today represent a public health problem. The present survey started on 10 February 2020 with the aim of a) assessing the risk perception in healthcare workers and young students, following the evolution of attitudes, perception and knowledge over time, b) provide useful information to the general population during survey.
Results: A study sample consisting of 4116 Italian individuals of both sexes was enrolled.

Our study aimed to assess latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) prevalence, screening uptake, adherence to preventive treatment, and their predictors in a large cohort of asylum seekers. We retrospectively analysed data of migrants screened in 2015-2017 at the Migrant's Service in Verona, Italy. Sequential interferon-gamma-release-assay (IGRA) was performed to confirm only tuberculin-skin-test (TST) results ranking from 5 to 14 mm.

Beginning with sigma receptor ligands and expanding to other drugs from screening in the field, we became concerned that phospholipidosis was a shared mechanism underlying the antiviral activity of many repurposed drugs. For all of the 23 cationic amphiphilic drugs we tested, including hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, amiodarone, and four others already in clinical trials, phospholipidosis was monotonically correlated with antiviral efficacy.
