Efficiently manipulating the magnetization of van der Waals (vdW) ferromagnets has attracted considerable interest in developing room-temperature two-dimensional (2D) material-based memory and logic devices. Here, taking advantage of the unique properties of the vdW ferromagnet as well as promising characteristics of the orbital Hall effect, we demonstrate the room-temperature magnetization switching of vdW ferromagnet FeGaTe through the orbital torque generated by the orbital Hall material, Titanium (Ti). The switching current density is estimated to be around 1.

In particular, domain structure modulation plays a crucial role in 2D magnet-based nano-spintronic devices. However, the fabrication and modulation of the desired domain structure, along with the establishment of reliable electrical write/read operations, remain significant challenges.

This problem plays a crucial role in various real-world systems where agents exhibit both cooperative and competitive interactions, such as autonomous vehicle fleets, smart grids, and robotic networks. To address this, unlike most existing works, an intermediate observer is designed using newly introduced intermediate variables, enabling simultaneous estimation of both agent states and faults.

2D van der Waals (vdW) magnets have recently emerged as a promising material system for spintronic device innovations due to their intriguing phenomena in the reduced dimension and simple integration of magnetic heterostructures without the restriction of lattice matching. However, it is still challenging to realize Curie temperature far above room temperature and controllable magnetic anisotropy for spintronics application in 2D vdW magnetic materials. In this work, the pressure-tuned dome-like ferromagnetic-paramagnetic phase diagram in an iron-based 2D layered ferromagnet FeGaTe is reported.

In this article, we revisit the problem of distributed neuroadaptive consensus for uncertain multiagent systems (MASs) in the presence of unmodeled nonlinearities as well as unknown disturbances. Robust consensus controllers comprising a linear feedback term, a discontinuous feedback term, and a neural network approximation term are constructed, where in each term, the weight part is endowed with some dynamical changing law. The asymptotic convergence of the consensus errors is theoretically proved based on the graph theory, nonsmooth analysis, and Barbalat's lemma.
