We have found that Naïve Bayesian and deep neural networks outperform logistic regression, recursive partitioning tree, support vector machine, and random forest techniques by having the lowest balanced error rate (BER) for the test set. Derived predictive classification models consistently and successfully discriminated aggregator molecules from nonaggregator hits.

Understanding, prioritizing, and mitigating methane (CH) emissions requires quantifying CH budgets from facility scales to regional scales with the ability to differentiate between source sectors. We deployed a tiered observing system for multiple basins in the United States (San Joaquin Valley, Uinta, Denver-Julesburg, Permian, Marcellus). Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is associated with disruption of homeostatic lipid metabolism, but underlying processes are poorly understood. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cancer often occur in the same individuals, in part due to the shared risk factors such as obesity. Obesity promotes adipose inflammation, which is pathogenically linked to both cardiovascular disease and cancer. Compared with Caucasians, the prevalence of obesity is significantly higher in African Americans (AA), who exhibit more pronounced inflammation and, in turn, suffer from a higher burden of CVD and cancer-related mortality.
