This study examines the design of emotional healing interventions for Generation Z individuals experiencing anxiety and investigates the mechanisms of AI-assisted collaborative drawing in addressing their needs for personalized and interactive emotional regulation. Drawing on Jungian theory of artistic compensation to evaluate AI-based art therapy, and integrating the S-O-R (Stimulus-Organism-Response) model and the FBM (Fogg Behavior Model), we analyzed how the intelligent mechanisms of AI collaborative painting contribute to emotional healing. We established three art therapy groups-generative AI painting, interactive AI painting, and traditional painting-for comparison.

Background: Visceral hypersensitivity is one of the main pathogenesis of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and mast cell activation is closely related to visceral hypersensitivity. As a critical molecule of the innate immune system, toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) may modulate the activation of mast cell. Alleviating effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on visceral hypersensitivity has been proved, whereas, whether the TLR4 and mast cell is involved in this process remains unclear.

Nonetheless, the cellular and molecular mechanisms of MPH are still unknown. We attempt to determine whether MPH protect neuron cells against oxidative stress by using human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells.

Main Methods: The effects of varying doses of PTX on viability, cell cycle and apoptosis of HepG2 cells were determined by MTT and flow cytometry, respectively.
The inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 has been reported to suppress growth and induce apoptosis in human pancreatic cancer cells. Nevertheless, the precise biological mechanism of how celecoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor, regulates the growth and invasion of pancreatic tumors is not completely understood. It has been shown that fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF-2) and its receptor levels correlate with the inhibition of cancer cell proliferation, migration and invasion in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).

Inflammation of the colon in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) causes pain and altered motility, at least in part through the damage of the myenteric neurons (MNs). Thus, it is important to evaluate new drugs for UC treatment that could also protect myenteric neurons efficiently. As a well-known neural protective and anti-inflammatory agent, melatonin could protect neurons from damage through the activation of the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 and antioxidant responsive element (Nrf2-ARE) signaling pathway.

Pentoxifylline (PTX) is a non-selective phosphodiesterase inhibitor with the effects of antioxidation, anti-inflammation and anti-fibrosis that has been shown to induce damage in liver. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects and possible mechanisms of PTX on thioacetamide (TAA)-induced acute liver injury in rats. Male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were divided into four groups: control, PTX, TAA and PTX+TAA treated groups.

Objective: To investigate the effects of chlorogenic acid (CGA) on hepatic stellate cell proliferation and the expression and secretion of Collagen I, Collagen III, tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) and matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2).
Methods: An immortalized rat hepatic stellate cell (HSC) line was cultured in vitro. The cells were divided into 5 groups: control group; platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) (10 ng/mL), PDGF+CGA (12.

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect of thyroid hormone in nude mice bearing human pancreatic cancer xenograft.
Methods: A BALB/c nude mouse model bearing pancreatic cancer was established with human pancreatic cancer cell line Bx-PC3. The mouse models were divided randomly into 5 groups, namely the control group treated with distilled water, high and low concentrations of thyroid hormone (T3) groups, and high and low concentration of propylthiouracil (PTU) groups.
