Introduction And Objectives: There are limited data on drug-coated balloon (DCB) treatment for de novo diffuse coronary artery disease (CAD). This study aimed to evaluate the clinical impact of DCB-based percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with de novo diffuse long CAD.
Methods: We retrospectively included 623 patients with single de novo diffuse CAD (≥ 30mm).

Background: Data on drug-coated balloon (DCB) treatment in elderly patients are limited. This study was to evaluate the efficacy of DCB treatment in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) among elderly patients.
Methods: A retrospective analysis included 232 patients aged 75 years or older with coronary artery disease who underwent successful PCI using either DCB alone or in combination with drug-eluting stent (DES) based on pre-dilation results (DCB-based PCI).
Drug-coated balloon (DCB) treatment is an emerging strategy for de novo coronary artery disease (CAD), but procedural optimization remains uncertain. This study analyzed 317 patients who underwent DCB-based intervention for de novo CAD and angiographic follow-up: SR (successful, stent-like result: diameter stenosis < 20% at follow-up angiography, n = 84, 93 lesions) and Non-SR (n = 224, 358 lesions) groups. Background: There is a paucity of data regarding drug-coated balloon (DCB) treatment in the context of left main (LM) true bifurcation lesions.
Aims: The aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of DCB-based treatment for unprotected LM true bifurcation lesions.
Methods: A total of 39 patients with LM true bifurcation lesion (Medina: 1,1,1/0,1,1/1,0,1) who were successfully treated with DCB alone or in combination with drug-eluting stent (DES) were retrospectively enrolled into the DCB-based group.

Background: Genoss drug-eluting stent (DES) (Genoss Company Limited) is a new ultrathin sirolimus-eluting stent with an abluminal biodegradable polymer and a cobalt-chromium platform.
Aims: The aim of this study was to evaluate vascular healing and neointimal coverage after implantation of the Genoss DES using optical coherence tomography (OCT) 6 months postimplantation.
Methods: From August 22, 2019 to June 17, 2020, this multicenter, observational, investigator-initiated study enrolled 20 patients who underwent OCT examination 6 months after Genoss DES implantation and provided informed consent.

Concerns over the spread of non-native species in aquatic environments have led to the need for effective methods to prevent and control their spread while protecting native species. This study investigated the potential of yeast vacuolar enzymes as a natural hatching inhibitor for controlling aquatic organisms. Hatching experiments with Daphnia magna eggs demonstrated that exposure to yeast vacuole enzymes inhibited hatching in a concentration-dependent manner, suggesting their potential as an effective inhibitor of egg hatching in aquatic organisms.

Specifically, a systematic meta-review was conducted with three main objectives: (1) to identify what types and aspects of DV during COVID-19 have been reviewed systematically to date (research trends), (2) to synthesize the findings from recent systematic reviews of the theoretical and empirical literature (main findings), and (3) to discuss what systematic reviewers have proposed about implications for policy and practice as well as for future primary research (implications). We identified, appraised, and synthesized the evidence contained in systematic reviews by means of a so-called systematic meta-review.

The vacuoles of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae are closely related to mammalian lysosomes and play a role in macromolecular degradation due to the hydrolytic enzymes present inside. The vacuoles also regulate osmotic pressure and control cellular homeostasis.
