Background: Training of Trainers Program that combines both theoretical and practical components and effectively enhance educators’ competencies in interprofessional education are rarely encountered. This study aimed to design and evaluate a Training of Trainers Program in Interprofessional Education intended to enhance participants’ awareness, knowledge, and self-perceived competencies related to the design, implementation, and improvements of interprofessional education practices among healthcare educators.
Methods: The study was planned and conducted between June 2023 and March 2024.
Background: Organizational culture significantly influences the quality of healthcare services and healthcare professional education. Although various scales exist to measure organizational culture at the undergraduate level, validated instruments specifically tailored for healthcare professional education remain scarce. Methods: This experimental study utilized a Solomon four-group design and was conducted with a total of 69 older adults, divided into two experimental groups of 30 individuals and two control groups of 39 individuals. Participants were healthy older adults without psychological or neurological illnesses, capable of effectively receiving education.

Methods: The study, conducted at a university (enrolled in three faculties of health sciences dentistry, and medicine) in Turkey between 2019 and 2022, was designed as action research and followed six stages: Deciding on the Area of Focus, Reconnaissance, Planning, Acting, Evaluation, and Monitoring, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data for program development based on the ARCS-V (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction, and Volition) Motivation Model and ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) instructional design model. The program was based on the ARCS-V motivational design model, included three sessions and, was hybrid.
Background: The response phase is a phase of disaster management that begins when a disaster occurs. The experience of the First Responders who responded in the first days to the 2023 earthquake in Turkey, which killed more than fifty thousand people, is expected to inform and add value to the preparations for subsequent disasters.
Methods: A qualitative approach was used; focus group interviews were conducted with 15 first responders (8 fire fighters and 7 medical personnel) that responded in the first moments of the devastating Kahramanmaraş and Hatay earthquakes.

Methods: This cross-sectional clinical study was conducted at İzmir Democracy University Buca Seyfi Demirsoy Education and Research Hospital between April 2024 and August 2024. A total of 190 individuals with substance use disorders (MA, THC, and PS users) and 91 healthy controls participated.
Background: This study was conducted to assess how students' disaster literacy was affected by the Disaster Medicine Clinical Training Program at the Izmir Democracy University Faculty of Medicine (IDUFM) during the academic year 2022-2023.
Methods: Using an experimental method involving experimental and control groups, measurements were made at different times. The sample consisted of 5th-year students at IDUFM for the experimental group, while the control group was composed of 3rd- and 4th-year students from different buildings with limited interaction with the experimental group.
