Objective: This multicenter study aimed to investigate resting-state brain functional alterations in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) comorbid with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and to elucidate the underlying neural mechanisms.

Methods: A total of 139 participants were enrolled from two centers, including 48 healthy controls (HCs), 46 T2DM patients, and 45 T2DM with OSA patients. Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) was used to assess brain function using degree centrality (DC), amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF), and seed-based functional connectivity (FC).

In this study, a novel RP-HPLC-MS/MS method was developed for the accurate quantification of baloxavir in rat plasma. The analytes were retained and separated on a C18 column, and a triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer equipped with an electrospray ionization (ESI) source was applied for quantification. Baloxavir could be well retained in the C18 column under the appropriate chromatographic conditions.

First report of fire blight on Cotoneaster in China.

In May 2023, characteristic symptoms of fire blight, suspected to be caused by Erwinia amylovora, were observed infected wild Cotoneaster plants in the secondary forest along the lower reaches of the Jilgilang River, Xinjiang, China. Symptomatic tissues were collected, and bacterial isolation and purification were performed. The bacterium was identified through morphological characterization of the colonies, pathogenicity assays, tobacco hypersensitivity tests, and specific polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification, followed by sequence analysis.

[Evaluation of autologous fat grafting in improving post-treatment skin fibrosis in 20 patients with oral cancer].

Methods: A total of 20 patients who underwent oral cancer resection and neck dissection in Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from October 2022 to July 2023 were enrolled, 7 patients were treated with radiotherapy after neck dissection and 13 patients were treated with neck dissection. According to the degree of face-neck depression, the range of fibrosis and the function of neck and shoulder, corresponding volume of autologous fat was used to fill the depression.

Based on the research background of 52,307 large mining height working face in Daliuta Coal Mine, this paper adopts similar simulation and numerical simulation techniques to systematically study the strata pressure and surface crack development laws of the working face under the roof condition of such main key layer.
