MS4A4A belongs to the MS4A tetraspan protein superfamily and is selectively expressed by the monocyte-macrophage lineage. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the role of MS4A4A+ macrophages in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) pathogenesis and response to treatment. RNA sequencing and immunohistochemistry of synovial samples from either early treatment-naïve or active chronic RA patients showed that MS4A4A expression positively correlated with synovial inflammation.

Effects of isotretinoin on bone dynamics in the craniomaxillofacial region: a systematic review of preclinical evidence.

Purpose: This systematic review provides a critical evaluation, synthesis of the existing literature on isotretinoin's effects on craniomaxillofacial bone.

Methods: Following the PRISMA guidelines and registered in PROSPERO, the review was conducted in August 2024 across various databases. Eligible in vivo studies were analysed for their assessment of isotretinoin's effects on craniomaxillofacial bone.

Overall Survival with Amivantamab-Lazertinib in -Mutated Advanced NSCLC.

Background: Previous results from this phase 3 trial showed that progression-free survival among participants with previously untreated (epidermal growth factor receptor)-mutated advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) was significantly improved with amivantamab-lazertinib as compared with osimertinib. Results of the protocol-specified final overall survival analysis in this trial have not been reported.

Methods: We randomly assigned, in a 2:2:1 ratio, participants with previously untreated -mutated (exon 19 deletion or L858R substitution), locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC to receive amivantamab-lazertinib, osimertinib, or lazertinib.

Purpose: Pelvic ring fractures involving the iliopubic rami can cause functional impairment. Percutaneous retrograde fixation is a less invasive procedure when compared to traditional open approaches, however precise anatomical knowledge is crucial for safe screw placement. This study aims to describe the morphology of the iliopubic rami, define a safety corridor for percutaneous screw fixation, specially focusing on the relationships between the iliopubic rami and neurovascular structures.

The relationship between adherence to 24-h movement guidelines and brain-derived neurotrophic factor in adolescents: a cross-sectional study.

Unlabelled: The objective of this study is to analyze adherence to 24-h movement behavior recommendations (combined and isolated) with brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in adolescents. For this cross-sectional study, 155 adolescents were recruited, of whom 141 participated; 118 with valid data were analyzed (64 girls, mean age 14.9 years).

Objective: This systematic review and multimodal activation likelihood estimation (ALE) meta-analysis explored the distinct structural, functional, and metabolic features of the PPD brain as compared to female non-peripartum MDD.

It can also have an impact on cognitive decline, as extrapyramidal symptoms, classically linked with dopamine dysfunction, are associated with increased risk of cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease progression. We review the knowledge of the dopaminergic system, emphasizing changes in Alzheimer's disease.
