Synthetic dyes, such as Congo red (CR), pose serious threats to human health and aquatic ecosystems because of their carcinogenicity and resistance to degradation, necessitating the development of efficient and eco-friendly remediation strategies. In this study, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized via a green method using Ocimum sanctum (holy basil) leaf extract and applied for CR dye removal from aqueous solutions. The adsorption process was optimized using response surface methodology (RSM) based on Box-Behnken design (BBD), evaluating the influence of key parameters including pH, AgNP dosage, initial dye concentration, contact time, and temperature.

The phytoseiid mite, Neoseiulus longispinosus (Evans) is considered as one of the effective biological control agents against the tetranychid mites in the Indian subcontinent. This predator can be effectively utilized to manage the two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch under protected conditions. Carnation holds a significantly important position as cut flower crop in India as well as throughout the world.

A CoO/AgMoO/CeOternary nanocomposites photocatalyst was successfully synthesized through a straightforward ethanol-assisted chemical method. Comprehensive characterization of its structural and optical properties was conducted using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-DRS), and photoluminescence (PL) analysis. XRD analysis confirmed the presence of CoO, AgMoO and CeO in the ternary composite sample.

We aim to describe an approach for reducing the posteriorly dislocated humeral head through the rotator interval via a deltopectoral approach that is frequently utilized for internal fixation of proximal humerus fractures and fracture dislocations. The sheath of the long head of biceps (LHB) and the rotator interval capsule are opened till the glenoid; this enables access to the glenohumeral joint via the rotator interval. A long-handle Cobb elevator is introduced through the rotator interval and, under intraoperative imaging, advanced posteromedially to the dislocated humeral head.

Clinical Relevance: Dry eye disease (DED) is associated with use of video screen based gadgets and long hours spent looking through microscopes. Use of 3D goggles to view 3D screens leads to eye strain and worsening of dry eye symptoms. It is important to identify and treat the symptoms in professions carrying a high risk of DED.

Background: The relationship between intraoperative end-tidal CO (etCO) levels and postoperative outcomes remains unclear. We conducted a post hoc analysis of two randomised trials in adults undergoing major surgery under general anaesthesia.
Methods: We re-analysed individual participant data comparing high or low positive end-expiratory pressure with low tidal volume intraoperative ventilation using a merged database derived from two randomised trials in non-obese (PROVHILO: ISRCTN70332574) and obese (PROBESE: NCT02148692) patients.

Gaucher's disease (GD) is the most common lysosomal storage disorder inherited in an autosomal recessive pattern. It occurs due to a deficiency of the enzyme glucocerebrosidase owing to a mutation in the acid-β-glucosidase () gene resulting in accumulation of glucocerebrosides in lysosomes of cells. It presents with abdominal distension, hepatosplenomegaly, developmental delay, pancytopenia, neurological manifestations and bone diseases.

Fahr's syndrome is a rare neurological condition marked by unusual calcifications in the basal ganglia and other brain regions, often resulting from metabolic disorders, such as hypoparathyroidism. Secondary hypoparathyroidism, a frequent complication of total thyroidectomy, can lead to Fahr's syndrome, manifesting as movement disorders, seizures, psychiatric symptoms and indications of calcium deficiency. This case report discusses a woman in her mid-30s who developed Fahr's syndrome due to secondary hypoparathyroidism after total thyroidectomy.

Introduction: Traffic signals are the controlling devices aimed to reduce crossing conflicts at intersections. However, rear-end and lane-changing conflicts at signalized intersection approaches are a significant problem. This work aims to proactively assess and spatially map the safety and risk at signalized intersection approaches by field data collection and microsimulation modeling using PTV-VISSIM.

Objectives: This study aimed to analyse the number of myocardial infarction (MI) admissions during the COVID-19 lockdown periods of 2020 and 2021 (March 15th to June 15th) and compare them with corresponding pre-pandemic period in 2019. The study also evaluated changes in critical treatment intervals: onset to door (O2D), door to balloon (D2B) and door to needle (D2N) and assessed 30-day clinical outcomes. This study examined MI care trends in India during the COVID-19 lockdown period, irrespective of patients' COVID-19 infection status.

Objective: Oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) are a diverse group of oral mucosal lesions that carry an increased risk of malignant transformation. Although biopsy is the gold standard for the diagnosis of these lesions, early detection is crucial, emphasizing the need to introduce more reliable non-invasive screening modalities. The aim of the study was to compare the efficacy of VELscope and vital tissue staining techniques as screening tools in the detection of early dysplastic changes in OPMDS, such as oral leukoplakia (OL), oral lichen planus (OLP) & oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) with histopathological confirmation.
