Accurate and precise detection of lanes and traffic signs is predominant for the safety and efficiency of autonomous vehicles and these two significant tasks should be addressed to handle Indian traffic conditions. There are several state-of-art You Only Live Once (YOLO) models trained on benchmark datasets which fails to cater the challenges of Indian roads. To address these issues, the models need to be trained with a wide variety of Indian data samples for the autonomous vehicles to perform better in India.

Multi-scale simulation is an important basis for constructing digital batteries to improve battery design and application. LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) is experimentally proven to be crucial for the electrochemical performance of lithium metal batteries. However, the LiF-rich SEI is sensitive to various electrolyte formulas and the fundamental mechanism is still unclear.

Microplastic (MP) pollution is an emerging global challenge and actually has become a reality in aquatic ecosystems in Albania. According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) report of 2019, Albania, is one of the most problematic countries, with the highest percentage of untreated plastic waste, 73 %, and one of the top four countries with the highest norm of untreated plastic waste in the Mediterranean. This study evaluates and characterizes for the first time the MPs in water, sediment, and gastrointestinal tracts of two crab species, C.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become one of the most serious global health crises in decades and tremendously influence the human mobility. Many residents changed their travel behavior during and after the pandemic, especially for a certain percentage of public transport users who chose to drive their owned vehicles. Thus, urban roadway congestion has been getting worse, and the spatiotemporal congestion patterns has changed significantly.

Coupling soft bodies and dynamic motions with multifunctional flexible electronics is challenging, but is essential in satisfying the urgent and soaring demands of fully soft and comprehensive robotic systems that can perform tasks in spite of rigorous spatial constraints. Here, the mobility and adaptability of liquid droplets with the functionality of flexible electronics, and techniques to use droplets as carriers for flexible devices are combined. The resulting active droplets (ADs) with volumes ranging from 150 to 600 µL can conduct programmable functions, such as sensing, actuation, and energy harvesting defined by the carried flexible devices and move under the excitation of gravitational force or magnetic force.

The twinning and slip modes of a rolled magnesium alloy sheet were investigated through quasi-in-situ tensile tests that were carried out along the rolling direction at room temperature with a constant strain rate. Scanning electron microscopy and electron backscattered diffraction observations were used to identify activated twinning and slip systems. Schmid factors were calculated to analyze different deformation modes.
