This paper presents the item and test information functions of the Rank two-parameter logistic models (Rank-2PLM) for items with two (pair) and three (triplet) statements in forced-choice questionnaires. The Rank-2PLM model for pairs is the MUPP-2PLM (Multi-Unidimensional Pairwise Preference; Morillo et al., 2016), and for triplets, is the Triplet-2PLM (Fu et al., 2023a). Fisher's information and directional information are described, and the test information for Maximum Likelihood (ML), Maximum A Posterior (MAP), and Expected A Posterior (EAP) trait score estimates is distinguished. Expected item/test information indexes at various levels are proposed and plotted to provide diagnostic information on items and tests. The expected test information indexes for EAP scores may be difficult to compute due to a typical test's vast number of item response patterns. The relationships of item/test information with discrimination parameters of statements, standard error, and reliability estimates of trait score estimates are discussed and demonstrated using real data. Practical suggestions for checking the various expected item/test information indexes and plots are provided.

Background: Ceremonies and symbols have been used to create a professional identity and recognize nursing graduates. This study describes the current use of recognition programs and the relationship between pinning ceremonies and demographic variables.
Method: A researcher-constructed survey, with forced-choice and open-ended questions, was distributed electronically to deans and directors of accredited entry-level nursing programs.

Background: Metamemory is the awareness of and ability to evaluate one's own cognitive abilities. This study examined impaired metamemory as a possible mechanism contributing to persistent cognitive symptoms after COVID-19.
Methods: Individuals with previous COVID-19 illness were recruited.

Balancing our dietary intakes in favour of plant protein sources would reduce overall protein intake. Low-protein diets have shown to reinforce specific appetite for protein. The role of protein appetite as a determinant of the choice of specific protein sources in free-living humans has not been extensively studied, and the relationship between the strength of protein appetite and the amount of protein from various dietary sources has not yet been quantified.

Proposed is a new method of scoring multidimensional forced-choice (MFC) questionnaires referred to as the dominant trait profile (DTP) method. The DTP method identifies a dominant response vector (DRV) for each trait-a vector of binary scores for preferences in item pairs within MFC blocks from the perspective of a respondent for whom the trait under consideration dominates over the other traits being measured. The respondents' observed response vectors are matched to the DRV for each trait to produce (1/0) matching scores that are then analyzed via latent trait modeling, with scaling options (a) bounded D-scale (from 0 to 1), or (b) item response theory logit scale.
