Article Abstract

Background: Holistic reviews play a crucial role in enhancing the diversity of health care workers, ensuring they can meet the needs of a varied population. Although extensive research highlights the importance of holistic reviews, there is a noticeable gap in understanding how applicants perceive this process.

Method: A pre- and postinterview survey was given to 279 applicants, over three separate holistic interview events. The participants included individuals applying for both the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Entry Level Master of Science in Nursing (EL-MSN) programs.

Results: The results showed that 88% of applicants perceived they could effectively demonstrate their valuable qualities and attributes during the holistic review process.

Conclusion: Holistic admissions, when implemented using best practices, can incorporate diverse activities in interviews. These diverse activities highlight each applicant's unique qualities and attributes, allowing admission committees to get a well-rounded view of the applicants.

Pectinases are indispensable biocatalysts for pectin degradation in food and bioprocessing industries, yet natural enzymes often lack tailored functionalities for modern applications. While a previous review discussed pectinases in terms of production and application, this review particularly discusses an integrated framework for robust pectinases. This framework combines enzyme mining, protein engineering, and AI-assisted design to systematically discover, optimize, and customize pectinases.

Perovskite materials have revolutionized optoelectronics by virtue of their tunable bandgaps, exceptional optoelectronic properties, and structural flexibility. Notably, the state-of-the-art performance of perovskite solar cells has reached 27%, making perovskite materials a promising candidate for next-generation photovoltaic technology. Although numerous reviews regarding perovskite materials have been published, the existing reviews generally focus on individual material systems (e.

Duckweed, a rapidly growing aquatic plant, is gaining significant attention as a sustainable protein source. However, fully unlocking its potential requires a comprehensive evaluation, from its nutrient composition to its applications in both food and nutraceutical products. This review provides a holistic approach, beginning with the factors influencing duckweed's nutrient composition, including growth conditions and environmental variables.
