The protocol aims to investigate the effects of Chai hu administration on postmenopausal osteoporosis in ovariectomized (OVX) rats. Eight-week-old female Sprague-Dawley rats underwent bilateral ovariectomy using the dorsal approach to establish a postmenopausal osteoporosis model.
