Background: Lateral malleolar avulsion fracture (LMAF) and subfibular ossicle (SFO) are distinct entities that both present as small bone fragments near the lateral malleolus on imaging, yet require different treatment strategies. Clinical and radiological differentiation is challenging, which can impede timely and precise management. On imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the diagnostic gold standard for differentiating LMAF from SFO, whereas radiological differentiation on computed tomography (CT) alone is challenging in routine practice.

Purpose: Fat fraction (FF) quantification in individual muscles using quantitative MRI is of major importance for monitoring disease progression and assessing disease severity in neuromuscular diseases. Undersampling of MRI acquisitions is commonly used to reduce scanning time. The present paper introduces novel unrolled neural networks for the reconstruction of undersampled MRI acquisitions.

Protein-nucleic acid binding sites play a crucial role in biological processes such as gene expression, signal transduction, replication, and transcription. In recent years, with the development of artificial intelligence, protein language models, graph neural networks, and transformer architectures have been adopted to develop both structure-based and sequence-based predictive models. Structure-based methods benefit from the spatial relationship between residues and have shown promising performance.

Background: This study evaluates the quality of synthetic computed tomography (sCT) images for MR-only radiotherapy in prostate cancer using gamma analysis. A software tool, MRGamma, was developed to address challenges like the absence of electron density maps and registration uncertainties between magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and planning CT (pCT).
Materials And Methods: Aplication developed in MATLAB assesses Hounsfield units (HU) discrepancies between CT and sCT images via 2D and 3D gamma analysis (GA).

Background: Globally, anemia poses a serious health challenge for children under the age of five, and Ethiopia is one of the countries significantly affected by this issue. The 2016 Ethiopian Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) data sets were employed to evaluate anemia risk among children aged 6-59 months. Due to limited research has been conducted on childhood anemia spatial disparities at the Ethiopian zonal level, and it is essential for developing zonal-level interventions for inform policy recommendations.
