Turbulent convection governs heat transport in both natural and industrial settings, yet optimizing it under extreme conditions remains a significant challenge. Traditional control strategies, such as predefined temperature modulation, struggle to achieve substantial enhancement. Here, we introduce a deep reinforcement learning (DRL) framework that autonomously discovers optimal control policies to maximize heat transfer in turbulent Rayleigh-Bénard convection.

While PGPB have historically been applied in agriculture, their formal recognition in the last century has driven intensive research into their role as sustainable tools for improving crop yield and stress tolerance. As they are primarily sourced from wild or native environments, the widespread enthusiasm has led to heightened expectations surrounding their potential, often based on the assumption that biological solutions are inherently safer and more effective than synthetic inputs. However, despite their popularity, increasing reports of inconsistent or limited performance under real-world, field conditions have raised critical questions about their credibility as biofertilizers and biocontrol agents.

Purpose: The German sector-based healthcare system poses a major challenge to continuous patient monitoring and long-term follow-up, both essential for generating high-quality, longitudinal real-world data. The national Network for Genomic Medicine (nNGM) bridges the inpatient and outpatient care sectors to provide comprehensive molecular diagnostics and personalized treatment for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients in Germany. Building on the established nNGM infrastructure, the DigiNet study aims to evaluate the impact of digitally integrated, personalized care on overall survival (OS) and the optimization of treatment pathways, compared to routine care.

Despite therapeutic advances, multiple myeloma (MM) remains incurable, especially in relapsed/refractory (R/R) cases. B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) is a key target for novel immunotherapies, including chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapies and bispecific T-cell engagers (BiTEs), which vary in efficacy, toxicity, and accessibility. To compare the efficacy and safety of BCMA-directed CAR-T therapies and BiTEs in R/R MM through a systematic review and meta-analysis.

This study aimed to evaluate the performance of co-testing (cytology and hHPV detection) in a real-world cohort of men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender women (TW) living with HIV. We conducted a prospective study (2017-2023) at a tertiary care center in Spain.
