Article Abstract

This work reports an effective and scalable radiochemical separation process for isolating terbium from GdO. The separation process uses three commercially available extraction chromatography resin columns, has been implemented on a computer-controlled chemistry module, and tested with 100 mg quantities of proton-irradiated GdO. The 4 h separation procedure isolated radioterbium in 1.3 mL of 0.01 M HCl with 80 ± 8 % radiochemical yield and a Gd decontamination factor >(1.2 ± 0.3)·10.

Purpose: Expanding high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine coverage in resource-constrained settings is critical to bridging the cervical cancer gap and achieving the global action plan for elimination. Mobile health (mHealth) technology via short message services (SMS) has the potential to improve HPV vaccination uptake. The mHealth-HPVac study evaluated the effectiveness of mHealth interventions in increasing HPV vaccine uptake among mothers of unvaccinated girls aged 9-14 years in Lagos, Nigeria.

Arterial thrombosis is a multifaceted process characterized by platelet aggregation and fibrin deposition, leading to the occlusion of blood vessels. It plays a central role in cardiovascular conditions such as myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke. Gaining insight into the mechanisms underlying arterial thrombosis is essential for developing effective treatments aimed at preventing thrombotic events and reducing associated health burdens.

Substance misuse among college students continues to rise, with polysubstance use becoming increasingly common. Alcohol remains the most prevalent substance, with heavy episodic and high-quantity drinking linked to serious consequences, including injuries, assaults, and deaths. Concurrent use of alcohol and cannabis, as well as other illicit drugs, further compounds risks to health, safety, and academic functioning.
