Background: Reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) criteria for in vivo diagnosis of unperturbed basal cell carcinoma (BCC) lesions have been validated and studies have reported high diagnostic sensitivity. However, a paucity of data remains regarding preservation or changes in RCM features after biopsy or treatment.

Objective: Prospectively image biopsy proven superficial BCC (sBCC) with RCM at baseline and 12 weeks post-treatment to determine clearance and identify any associated RCM features.

Background: Myogenic temporomandibular disorder (MTMD) is a complex disorder of the masticatory apparatus. Many nonsurgical treatments have been introduced for treating MTMD chronic pain. The aim of this study is to test the effect of Nd-YAG laser versus epidermal growth factor (EGF) on painful chronic MTMD through monitoring pain scores and salivary pain mediators' levels.

Unlabelled: With advances in systemic anticancer therapies, pulmonary metastasectomy is being increasingly employed for local disease control while aiming to preserve lung parenchyma, anatomy, and function with complete (R0) resection. We introduce an innovative neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd-YAG) light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation (LASER) approach for peripherally located, deep-seated, and fissural lesions, utilizing the lung's natural tongue-like configuration at the edges. This method involves cylindrical excision around the nodule, creating a buttonhole from one surface to the other.

To assess the 1-month outcomes of visual performance and positional stability of capsule-fixated intraocular lenses (IOLs) in patients with IOL-Bag complex dislocation. We enrolled 36 eyes (34 patients) with IOL-Bag complex dislocation due to pseudoexfoliation syndrome. Patients with intraoperative complications or prior posterior capsule Nd-YAG laser were excluded.
