Methamphetamine (MA) is one of the most relevant illegal drugs of our time worldwide. In German hospitals the management of a variety of MA-associated problems are also part of the daily routine, especially in the central area of Germany. A rapid infiltration of the central nervous system, pronounced dopaminergic stimulation and a long-term effect together with easy availability are the reasons for the enormous potential for dependency. This review article shows the dimensions and complexity of MA-related disorders (MRD). Proven diagnostic and therapeutic knowledge is reported and approaches for a possible sustainable solution to the problems are named.

Study Question: Does weight loss from a hypocaloric dietary intervention improve antral follicle dynamics in women with PCOS?
Summary Answer: During a 3-month hypocaloric dietary intervention, women with PCOS who experienced clinically meaningful weight loss showed more organized antral follicle development including fewer recruitment events, but no change in the overall frequency of selection, dominance, or ovulation.
What Is Known Already: There is a spectrum of disordered antral follicle development in women with PCOS including excessive follicle recruitment and turnover, decreased frequency of selection and dominance, and failure of ovulation. Lifestyle intervention aimed at weight loss is recommended to improve metabolic health in women with PCOS yet benefits on ovarian follicle development and ovulation are unclear.

Background: Risk stratification in posterior circulation ischemic stroke (PCIS) is challenging. Although the Posterior Circulation Ischemic Stroke Outcome Score (PCISOS) was developed to address this, its utility in minor PCIS and in identifying homogeneous populations for clinical trials or treatment-responsive subgroups remains uncertain.
Methods: CHANCE-2 (Clopidogrel in High-Risk Patients With Acute Non-disabling Cerebrovascular Events-II) was a multicenter, randomized trial that enrolled patients with minor stroke or high-risk transient ischemic attack who carried CYP2C19 loss-of-function alleles.

This research paper explores the role of speaker, listener and real-time social attention for pronoun comprehension in autistic and nonautistic children in northeast United States. We assessed the pronoun comprehension of 22 autistic children (average age of 62 months, range 46-80 months) and 22 nonautistic children (average age 44 months, range 30-57 months) matched on expressive vocabulary scores. We evaluated first- and second-person possessive pronoun comprehension ("my" and "your") using a game in which two experimenters hid stickers and provided clues to their location by providing a verbal clue (e.
