Fluorodinitromethyl is a crucial substituent for energetic materials (EMs), known for its superior thermal stability compared to other polynitro groups. In this study, we incorporated the fluorodinitromethyl group into a tetrazole backbone to achieve a balance between stability and energetic performance. The compound 2-(dinitromethyl)-5-(fluorodinitromethyl)-2H-tetrazole and its corresponding energetic salts were designed, synthesized through optimized routes, and thoroughly characterized. These compounds demonstrate high densities, positive enthalpy of formation, and excellent detonation properties. Compared to its trinitromethyl analog, this fluorodinitromethyl tetrazole exhibits significantly enhanced stability, density, and performance.

Pesticides are widely used to meet the food demands of a growing population, with various types used to control pests depending on the crops grown. Rainfall, overspray, and runoff from agricultural fields can wash these insecticides into water bodies, posing documented environmental risks. Imidacloprid is commonly used in Afrotropical regions such as South Africa, yet limited information is available on its toxicity to aquatic ecosystems within this climate region.

Importance: The cardiovascular benefits of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) may vary by body mass index (BMI), but evidence on BMI-specific outcomes remains limited.
Objective: To investigate the associations of GLP-1 RA use with cardiovascular and kidney outcomes across BMI categories in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This retrospective cohort study used the Chang Gung Research Database, a clinical dataset covering multiple hospitals in Taiwan.

Terminalia arjuna, an important medicinal plant in traditional Indian systems, has been extensively studied for its cardioprotective bark. However, limited attention has been given to its fruit, which contains several biologically active phytochemicals with potential antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory properties. This study aimed to isolate and partially purify phytoactive compounds from the fruit of T.

Objective: To explore healthcare professionals' perceptions on the implementation of home hemodialysis and self-assisted hemodialysis in Singapore and to identify the perceived barriers, facilitators, and actionable strategies for increasing uptake.
Methods: This is a qualitative explorative study based on semi-structured face-to-face interviews conducted with a multidisciplinary group of 12 healthcare professionals at an acute teaching hospital in Singapore. Thematic analysis was used for data analysis.
