C9orf72 hexanucleotide repeat expansion is a major cause of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), while its link with Alzheimer's disease (AD) is still unclear. We describe the case of a 53-year-old man with progressive memory and language deficits, mood disturbances, and a positive family history for ALS-FTD. Cerebrospinal fluid showed amyloid positivity, confirmed by amyloid-PET, with normal tau levels; [F]FDG-PET revealed an AD-like temporoparietal hypometabolism. Genetic testing detected a pathogenic C9orf72 expansion, also present in his mother. This case suggests phenotypic heterogeneity of C9orf72-related disorders and a possible interplay with amyloid pathology.

Supply chain risk management is crucial for the consumer products industry, given its susceptibility to uncertainties and risks. This research investigates the relationship between supply chain risks and performance within this sector, based on a sample of 385 entrepreneurs from Small Medium Sized enterprises (SMEs) in the consumer goods industry across ASEAN countries. Supply chain performance, defined as the ability to meet end-customer demands, involves ensuring commodity availability, on-time deliveries, and maintaining sufficient inventory and capacity across organizational boundaries, from raw materials to the final consumer.

Among these challenges, overlays have a particularly pronounced impact on manufacturing quality. To address this issue, this paper proposes a high-order overlay correction model that employs a two-dimensional fifth-order polynomial to accurately fit and characterize the distribution of overlays.

Objective: Accurate segmentation of breast lesions, especially small ones, remains challenging in digital mammography due to complex anatomical structures and low-contrast boundaries. This study proposes DVF-YOLO-Seg, a two-stage segmentation framework designed to improve feature extraction and enhance small-lesion detection performance in mammographic images.
Methods: The proposed method integrates an enhanced YOLOv10-based detection module with a segmentation stage based on the Visual Reference Prompt Segment Anything Model (VRP-SAM).

The climate crisis necessitates innovative approaches to foster ecological emotions and motivate pro-environmental action, particularly among young people. This conceptual paper explores how the Sport for Development and Peace (SDP) sector can more effectively address this challenge by drawing insights from game design theories. We propose the Mechanics-Dynamics-Aesthetics (MDA) framework, as a heuristic tool for intentionally designing SDP interventions.

Shifting towards a circular economy in the built environment is considered an important step toward fostering environmentally sustainable and socially resilient cities. Housing cooperatives, established to provide affordable and democratically governed housing, may offer structural advantages for embedding circularity - but their role in circular transitions remains underexplored. This study investigates how cooperative governance may influence the implementation of circular strategies, including circular design, product-service systems, and shared resource models, across different housing types.
