Article Abstract

This study compared the marginal adaptation of iRoot SP (non-heat compatible sealer) and Endosequence BC HiFlow (heat-compatible sealer) after root canal obturation using single cone or warm vertical compaction techniques. Forty mandibular premolars were prepared and randomly divided into four groups based on sealer type and obturation technique. After obturation and incubation, the roots were sectioned at coronal, middle, and apical levels. Gap widths between the sealer and dentine were measured under a scanning electron microscope at 1,000X, and the average width at each level was calculated and analysed using one-way ANOVA and Tukey HSD post hoc test. No significant differences in gap width among the groups were observed at coronal and apical levels. At the middle level, HiFlow with warm vertical compaction had narrower gaps than with the single cone technique ( < 0.05). Coronal gaps were consistently larger than apical gaps ( < 0.01). Warm vertical compaction did not adversely affect the marginal adaptation of either iRoot SP or HiFlow. Both sealers can be used with the warm obturation technique without compromising sealing ability. Notably, HiFlow demonstrated improved adaptation, indicating potentially enhanced sealing performance.

Introduction: Organizational resilience is of paramount importance for coping with adversity, particularly in the healthcare sector during crises. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the impact of resilience-based interventions on the well-being of healthcare employees during the pandemic. In this study, resilience-based interventions are defined as organizational actions that strengthen a healthcare institution's capacity to cope with crises-such as ensuring adequate personal protective equipment and staff testing, clear risk-communication, alternative care pathways (e.

Eukaryotic algae-dominated microbiomes thrive on the Greenland Ice Sheet (GrIS) in harsh environmental conditions, including low temperatures, high light, and low nutrient availability. Chlorophyte algae bloom on snow, while streptophyte algae dominate bare ice surfaces. Empirical data about the cellular mechanisms responsible for their survival in these extreme conditions are scarce.

Urbanization and climate warming have contributed to global amphibian declines in recent decades, and amphibians are particularly vulnerable to warming because temperature influences their physiological processes across all life stages. Tadpole responses to warming in tropical climates are relatively understudied, and previous studies demonstrated species-specific responses to warming temperature. Warming ponds may quicken tadpole development and increase thermal tolerances, but increasing local temperatures push populations towards their physiological limits.

Objectives: This study evaluated the marginal adaptation of ProRoot MTA (Dentsply Tulsa Dental), Biodentine (Septodont), and TotalFill BC RRM (FKG) placed in root-end cavities prepared with ultrasonic or Er,Cr:YSGG laser tips, using scanning electron microscopy.

Methods: The canals of 90 extracted maxillary central incisors were prepared and obturated and their roots resected. Six groups of 15 specimens were allocated as follows: ultrasonic + ProRoot MTA, ultrasonic + Biodentine, ultrasonic + TotalFill, laser + ProRoot MTA, laser + Biodentine, and laser + TotalFill.
