Intrathoracic kidney is very rare and has the lowest prevalence among all renal ectopias. We report the case of a 70-year-old male who was referred for diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) scan as a part of presurgical work-up for a right renal mass. PriorUltrasonography abdomen incorrectly reported left kidney as normal in location. Tc-DTPA renal scan combined with single-photon emission computed tomography - computed tomography revealed impaired global glomerular filtration rate with left kidney in ectopic (intrathoracic) location. 18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography images revealed a soft tissue mass completely replacing the right kidney with metastases to bilateral lungs. This case reemphasizes the importance of nuclear medicine imaging in diagnosis and evaluation of the renal function of the intrathoracic kidney.

Introduction: Liver transplantation for polycystic liver disease (PLD) poses significant intraoperative risks due to the presence of a massively enlarged liver. We report a rare case of intraoperative pneumothorax and pneumatocele formation during total hepatectomy, which was successfully managed with a non-operative approach.
Case Presentation: A female patient in her 40s with a history of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease presented with progressive liver cyst enlargement (Gigot type III, Qian classification Grade 4), which led to decreased activities of daily living and intracystic hemorrhage.
Introduction: Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) can result in intrathoracic displacement of the kidney, presenting anatomical challenges for robot-assisted radical nephrectomy (RARN). Reports of RARN in such cases are scarce.
Case Presentation: A 56-year-old man with a history of right-sided CDH repair was referred for evaluation of an incidentally discovered right renal mass.

A Bochdalek hernia is a congenital defect that permits abdominal organs to herniate into the thoracic cavity. While commonly diagnosed in neonates due to symptomatology, it is often found incidentally in adults. The case presents an 84-year-old male from a skilled nursing facility complaining of left-sided chest pain radiating to the left shoulder, accompanied by shortness of breath and nausea.

Adrenal glands are situated cranially and in close proximity to both kidneys. The rabbit is a preferred animal pet species and is also used as an experimental model in research. The aim of this study was to investigate the CT anatomical features of the rabbit adrenal glands, using the CT device SOMATOM.
