Main group element-based coordination polymers (CPs) are being widely studied for energy storage and sensing applications because of their structural versatility and electropositive properties. In this work, Sr(II)-CP, namely (SA2), was fabricated utilizing 3,5-pyridine dicarboxylic acid (PDC). The formation of SA2 was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SC-XRD). The topological rod net representation showed that SA2 followed a underlying net. However, to enhance the electrochemical properties of SA2, a rGO@SA2 composite was fabricated by introducing reduced graphene oxide (rGO) using a sonication approach. The structures of SA2, rGO and rGO@SA2 were confirmed by spectroscopic and microscopy techniques (PXRD, FT-IR, TGA, UV-vis, SEM, and HR-TEM, respectively). SA2 served as an excellent sensor for Ba (92%) metal ions and showed notable fluorescence selectivity for picric acid (PA-95%) compared with 1,4-nitroaniline (NA-83%) and benzoic acid (BA-49%). Furthermore, electrochemical analysis was performed using galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD) and cyclic voltammetry (CV) techniques which showed good specific capacitances of 153.57 F g and 383.38 F g for SA2 and rGO@SA2 at a current density of 0.5 A g, respectively. After 2000 cycles, rGO@SA2 showed a retention capacitance of 96.32%.

Purpose: The primary purpose was to assess sulcus angle (SA) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) measurements and determine diagnostic cutoff values along four axial levels on cartilaginous and osseous surfaces comparing those with patellar dislocations (PD) versus controls. A secondary aim was to identify differences in SA between patients with one-time dislocation (OTD) versus recurrent patellar dislocations (RPDs).
Methods: Paediatric patients with a history of PD were retrospectively grouped into those with an OTD versus RPDs.

Gambling harm is a significant public health burden, yet treatment uptake is low. Electronic screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (e-SBIRT) programmes have potential to increase uptake and improve treatment outcomes. However, no studies to date have investigated e-SBIRT in the context of gambling.

Digenean trematodes with complex life cycles often use marine crabs as intermediate hosts, but their distribution across crab species is not fully understood. Previous reports of Microphallus similis in edible crabs (Cancer pagurus) relied on morphological identification, leaving potential for misidentification. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence, identity, and host range of digenean parasites in intertidal brachyuran crabs from South Wales, U.

: Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent form of regulated cell death driven by lipid peroxidation and holds promise as a therapeutic strategy against cancers with elevated iron metabolism. However, many tumors evade ferroptosis through the upregulation of specialized antioxidant defense mechanisms. Here, we investigated ferroptosis susceptibility and resistance mechanisms in TSC models and in ovarian and breast cancer cell lines, aiming to identify potential therapeutic targets.

Background: Large carnivores in human-dominated landscapes face significant risks from increased anthropogenic pressure, making it crucial to understand their movement behaviour for conservation strategies.
Methods: We used conventional and generalised hidden Markov models (HMMs) to analyse GPS telemetry data collected from 2016 to 2022 on 15 subadult tigers to classify behavioural states across three life stages (pre-dispersal, dispersal, post-dispersal) in the Eastern Vidarbha Landscape, India. We further examined how intrinsic and extrinsic factors influenced transitions between these behavioural states.
