Purpose: Glaucoma is commonly treated with prostaglandin analogs (PGAs), which effectively reduce intraocular pressure. However, PGAs can cause ocular side effects, including prostaglandin-associated periorbitopathy syndrome (PAPS), characterized by fat loss, enophthalmos and increased orbital structure prominence. The underlying mechanism is believed to involve adipocyte apoptosis, altered lipid metabolism, and changes in soft tissue dynamics.

Purpose: To investigate the factors influencing the number of injections in myopic choroidal neovascularization (mCNV) as well as to identify the clinical features of patients who require a limited number of injections to inactive mCNV.
Methods: This retrospective study included 86 eyes (86 patients) affected by treatment-naïve mCNV who were treated with pro re nata anti-VEGF injections with a follow-up at 12 months. Patients underwent complete ophthalmic visits, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCTA) both at baseline and at 12 months.

It highlights and details uncommon lesions that may be overlooked during MRI evaluation and/or arthroscopic exploration. The knowledge of their existence can enable radiologists to critically assess any meniscal abnormality, keeping in mind its possible arthroscopic presentation.
