Article Abstract

Incomplete ultraviolet (UV) absorption and low fluorescence quantum yields (FLQY) of light-converting agents limit their applications. Here, the as-synthesized bis-triarylboron compounds, when doped into poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) films, show highly matched UV absorption and a high FLQY (up to 0.65), attributed to the intramolecular space conjugation effect.
