Coronary artery disease (CAD), is a global cardiovascular disease that is characterized by myocardial ischemia and hypoxia caused by coronary artery occlusion. Circular RNAs (CircRNAs) is a particular kind of endogenous non-coding RNA, which can affect the occurrence and development of CAD. Concurrently, several circRNAs display stable persistence in CAD patients, attributable to their exceptional exonuclease resistance, thereby harboring the capacity to evolve into a biomarker for CAD diagnosis and prognosis. This article endeavors to clarify the pivotal role of circRNAs in the intricate pathophysiological processes underlying CAD patients or CAD disease models based on their unique biological characteristics and functionalities, and further discuss their prospects in clinical applications of CAD.

Background: Because the myocardium thickness and blood flow of the right ventricular (RV) are lower than those of the left ventricle, it is challenging to perceive the RV myocardium in normal individuals. This study aimed to measure the myocardial perfusion in the RV (myocardial blood flow [MBF], myocardial flow reserve [MFR]) from 13N-ammonia PET images and investigate the associations between the MBF and MFR in patients with and without coronary artery disease (CAD) in the right coronary artery (RCA) region. A total 121 MBF and MFR were retrospectively measured from PET images by referring to the radioactivity and clinical blood flow values of the left ventricle.

Introduction: Since only around 10% of people with gambling disorder (GD) seek professional treatment or attend self-help groups, multiple strategies are needed to improve this rate. The proposal of the Behavioral Addictions Centre 'Adcom' (Madrid, Spain) is one of these strategies, a pioneering and innovative program aimed at the general population to identify people with addictions such as GD, in an attempt tp offer them appropriate evidence-based treatments.
Materials And Methods: We analyzed information obtained from the first 305 adults who voluntarily sought attention at Adcom for self-referred gambling, and conducted a descriptive, cross-sectional and observational study of this population.
