Background: Frailty is defined as a biological syndrome characterized by a decreased reserve and resistance to stressors. Frailty is closely related to lifestyle, and improving lifestyle can effectively reduce the incidence of frailty and related adverse events. Multi-component interventions were an effective mean of improving lifestyle, which has been validated in studies of other populations.

Background: The Brazilian project, launched in 2021, aims to establish a nationwide injury registry that systematically collects detailed information on incidents and individuals across the country, regardless of injury severity. The registry integrates information from prehospital and hospital care, various health systems lacking interoperability, and data from sectors such as firefighters and police. Its primary aim is to enhance health surveillance by providing timely, high-quality information that guides prevention strategies and informs policymaking.

Objective: Systematize the methodological decisions adopted in the budget impact analyses of the recommendation reports of the National Commission for the Incorporation of Technologies into the Unified Health System (Conitec) regarding drugs incorporated into the SUS (Brazilian Unified Health System) in the period from 2012 to 2024.
Methods: This is an exploratory, descriptive, retrospective study, based on document analysis of Conitec's technical recommendation reports with decisions on the incorporation of drugs published up to 2024. Information from the Budget Impact Analyses (BIA) was extracted and presented in terms of percentage, median and interquartile range.

Background: Depression and anxiety are common in chronic kidney disease (CKD) and worsen clinical outcomes. Psycho-behavioural interventions offer a promising, non-pharmacological approach. However, most evidence comes from people with kidney failure with distinct treatment needs, limiting relevance to earlier stages of CKD, where timely support may enhance self-management and slow progression.

Development of dental caries is a dynamic process; yet, there is limited knowledge on microbial differences at various stages of caries at higher resolution. To investigate the shifting microbiome profiles across different caries stages, 30 children were enrolled in this study, including 15 caries-active patients and 15 caries-free individuals. Plaque samples were collected from the buccal surface of caries-free subjects, defined as confident health (CH; = 15).
