We report the first case of linear epidermal naevus (LEN) associated with a novel mosaic heterozygous variant (c.C1361 T, p.P454L). Genetic and histopathological analysis revealed increased RAS/mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway activation in affected skin, suggesting a distinct molecular mechanism linking mosaicism to LEN. Our findings expand the genetic spectrum of LEN and provide insights into the role of in cutaneous mosaic disorders.

Background: CKD is strongly associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD), yet the etiology responsible for this link remains elusive. Novel blood and urine biomarkers reflecting kidney tubule dysfunction and injury may provide novel insights to mechanisms linking the kidney to CVD.
Methods: In 470 participants of the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) without type 2 diabetes, CVD or CKD, we measured six plasma (kidney injury molecule-1 [KIM-1], monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 [MCP-1], soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor [suPAR], tumor necrosis factor receptor [TNFR] 1 and 2, and anti-chitinase-3-like protein 1 [YKL-40]) and six urinary (alpha 1 microglobulin [A-1M], epidermal growth factor [EGF], KIM-1, MCP-1, YKL-40 and uromodulin [UMOD]) kidney tubule health biomarkers.

Background: Morphological features of tumors can reflect the biological behavior of breast carcinoma; however, a consensus macroscopic classification remains elusive. In this study, we aimed to elucidate the relationship between macroscopic morphology and biological behavior of breast carcinoma.
Methods: We evaluated 328 post-operative breast carcinomas, stratifying them by hormone receptor/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) status (luminal-like, luminal-HER2, HER2-positive [non-luminal], triple-negative), and morphological patterns.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to analyze the association between mean PM levels from 2000 to 2020 and the prevalence of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations worldwide.
Patients And Methods: We fitted linear regression models weighted by the total number of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) to estimate the association strength. Adjusted R values were calculated, with values closer to 1 indicating a stronger association.

To develop a method for determining the antibody-dependent cell-mediated phagocytosis (ADCP) activity of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-targeted antibody drug conjugate (ADC) based on the reporter gene assay, we established an ADCP activity assay with Jurkat/NFAT/FcγRIIa cells as the effector cells and BT474 as the target cells. Then, the target cell density, the ratio of effector to target cells, the target cell adhesion time, the incubation time for drug administration, and the induction time after adding effector cells were optimized by the method of design of experiment (DOE). The method showed a significant dose-response relationship, which was complied with the four-parameter equation: =(A-D)/[1+(/C)]+D.

A 28-year-old Indian male with no previous medical or dermatological history presented with mildly pruritic linear skin lesions over the right anterior chest and arm. The lesions had been gradually progressing over the course of six years. Examination revealed multiple confluent, reddish-brown papules following Blaschko's lines, along with punctate hyperkeratotic papules over the right hand, with sparing of the mucosa, scalp, and nails.
